"We support the person and challenge the behaviour."

"We're a no excuse football club."

And my personal favourite - which I think is Rooeys aswell.

“execute one, educate 1000”
Whats your name?

Shane?

You're quite brilliant Shane. Two hours of football and that's the question you come up with.

Withering sarcasm from a cranky RTB at a dockers presser. FMD :D

Sorry for the Carlton post stavro#4 but….

Albeit dirty and paid for with...

Just re-listened and heard that disturbing reference to Hird at the outset.

If it was Hird I’d be taking a break from the club.
If it was Hird a lot of people and include myself wouldn’t renew.

It’s not Hird.

OK, I reckon Hill will be the next B&F under Ross Lyon. Was a great recruit and will save Gallagher's job.
I don’t think you’ll get as of an much an argument there as you might have hoped…you may be right.
We are the Saints, stranger things have happened.

Another small fwd that played under RTB could be a chance perhaps?
Wasn't a gun but knew his role

Mini??
Would be a great get while we're getting the gang back together haha.

Nah, don’t need another Lovett scandal. Yet another reason to hate Jimmy Hird and the Injectors.
I actually think it’s the perfect reason why.

The knock is that we aren’t a strong enough club to manage a JDG.

But If Ross is back. Giving him a talent like Stack and seeing if we can get him under control and performing with the support of Walsh.

Does a complete 180 on the narrative and perception

I must admit the thought crossed my mind that the JDG move was because the are (maybe) getting RTB. But obviously the timelines don’t work for that.

Actually my two favourites are

Let the cobblers do the cobbling

and Kosi's favourite, RTB must have said it on numerous times

I didn't invent defensive football and zones SoS. **** knows the context but always makes me laugh.

Also can't wait to see RTB sashaying to the huddle, with his distinctive gait :D

WOW, look at what he did with the Saints. Finals in every year except for the first.

Went to Freemantle took them to the Grand Final, which no-one had ever thought imaginable.

Handed over to Justin Longmuir with a decent team, who have maintained a record of over 50% and now playing finals.

Our problem was not Ross Lyon, it was the muppets in charge who stalled on RTB then sent us to Seaford, installed Trout.. Watters etc who salted the earth and tried to denounce any of Lyons legacy.
If you ask Ross where his heart lies, I reckon it would be firmly in the St.Kilda camp. The club means something to him, probably being his first senior coaching gig, and where he achieved a lot of success, albeit not the ultimate.

I think that gives him a leg up over the others too. Yes, it’s a professional sport, but we are all emotional about it, and emotion does have a part to play…look how we all want our champions back involved at the club.

And Ross was a champion for us - one of our most successful coaches ever. I believe he still has a lot of feeling for the club.
