There was something going on behind the scenes at the Trevor Barker night, Ratten looked completely stressed and hardly invested. It also completely explains our inability to sign the few fringe players we targetted.

Walsh is a big fan of Buckley so stay tuned.

I would ask the question of Ross Lyon however, I think his processes and defensive attitudes would have adjusted over time. I know there was bad blood between him and the club when he left but he is a briliant coach and I believe he would be a good fit for the club to take us forward.
Ross spoke a few months ago that he only wanted to get involved if a club paid for a highly thought of offensive coordinator.

Believe it or not….We have one.

Funny thing is that Bassett stated at the BnF that he was sick of mediocrity. Ratten wasn't in great spirits that night.

We do a full review, Get a new CEO, a new Chief of Football and our list manager moves to Adelaide....

Reckon he's not the only head to roll just quietly

100% need all of the above. It's an absolute disaster.

No that’s a good thing.

There needs to be a process.

Ratten had the gig lined up whenever Richo got the bullet last time.

From memory there wasn’t much out there at the time, we did a process and no one came forward to interview except Harvey … hence Teague and Shaw both got signed as well after also care taking like ratts …

Mate it was as token as it came.

There was a reason Harvey was pissed after getting knocked back and there was a reason we even got Ratts across from his cushiony gig under clarko

Right now I don't care that we made a mistake in re-signing him. I'm sure how that happened will be dealt with.

I'm just ecstatic that we had the balls to correct the mistake before it cost us more in the long term.

Media can bring it on as far as I'm concerned. F*ck 'em... bunch of grubs.

Our list is better that some would lead you to believe. Better than it's been in a long time.

Let's just get on with it.

I tip my hat to whoever made this happen.
Absolutely spot on
Ratts just had to go and now he is gone
D+ trade period to A+

Liked Ratts seemed a really decent bloke. The king is dead long live the king.

But just who?

Stats say you need a new coach to win a flag so it looks like a choice of

Yze
McVeigh
Hayes
Probably in that order.

Or even better get B Lade back. I would microwave my membership if that happened.

It’s only a six month payout now.

People are making too much of the recent re-signing.

We had a review, we confirmed he was crap, we wielded the axe.

This is the way to do it, no messing around and we move forward as a club with a better coach.
Very few of us were happy he was re-signed so early in the piece.
Thank heavens it’s not going to go for 6 years like Richo did.

Yeah I thought the same. And with Sincs speech, made specific comment and had Ratts back. I thought something was up, like Ratts got bad news from the review.

I'm warming to the idea of Don Pyke.

Thought he was a bit hard done by at the crows and took them to a Granny before the whole camp killed him and the group.

I'd have him over Yze.

We need a hard edge and I think Don is the right guy for that. I still love Ross but can't see it happening as a coach.
