If the club is keen enough they can either rework the mural so it fits the council's aesthetic requirements better or look for a location that will be more acceptable to the council. I'm disappointed but I'm not outraged. We live in a democracy and not everyone is a footy fan.

Funny enough, if some graffiti artist without any sort of permission just put one together it would probably be all ok.

Why is he so obsessed about it?
I honestly don't know. It's not like he was involved in a drink/drive or fight incident. The action was so innocuous neither he nor anyone else at the time knew he'd done some serious damage.

Not sure whether this belongs here or in the draft thread, but I'm going to post it here.

The dills at SEN (Charles Goodsir in particular) reckon our main draft need is a small forward!!! He writes:

After the trade period, the Swans are now primed for another tilt at a flag and aren’t crying out for anything particular in the draft. Sydney have picks 12, 45, 55 and 91. The Swans forward line is dominated by talls with Hayden McLean, Joel Amartey and Logan McDonald. Tom Papley remains as the only genuine small forward who has the ability to kick multiple goals and be a match winner.

Vic Metro prospect Nick Watson shapes up as the best small forward in the draft but the Swans would be unlikely to get him considering he is expected to be selected early. The next-best genuine small forward is Phoenix Gothard who impressed at the combine with his 20-metre sprint and vertical jump.

Verdict - Draft the best available small forward to compliment the talls.

Maybe he would have been prescient if he had written this 12 months ago when most of us were not plumping for a small forward. But then we drafted Jacob Konstanty with our first rounder, and followed up with Jaiden Magor in the rookie draft. Either of these blokes could become a small forward "who has the ability to kick multiple goals and be a match winner", although it's true that Magor saw more time in the backline in the VFL last season. At this stage, I prefer Magor as a forward long term.

Wtf is Charles Goodsir i listen to SEN all day never heard of him

I follow many , just think too many so called journo's talk s**t
The issue is that even a broken clock is right twice a day, and so I feel like Swans fans starved of attention, adoration and analysis towards our club by the Victorian-biased media eat up any of that stuff they get, particularly if its positive.

It's why, as absurd as it sounds, I like Bigfooty above all other places for any opinions about the Swans.

Why would I trust some corporate twat trying to churn out a mandatory word-limit about us before he punches the clock for the day when I could instead read the thoughts of Swans fans who actually know and love the club?

Most think they know and i agree to an extent , some just need to understand where the games is biggest , it's a fact . We don't like it but it won't change

Damoo ponders if Mills will lose the captaincy

He's been reading my posts.

I do think our captaincy team needs a revamp because of a) age and b) the absence of one for most of next year. Paps for Cap I say.
