until we have a poor outing and they say we miss him
Heeney and Hayward kicking straight has helped significantly
Quoting myself but seems this came true in a week

And Lloydy goes bang
missed someone else in the side
If you’re talking about Parker, he’s played 2-3 bad finals over his entire career.
I reckon he’d average about 25 touches, a goal, >5 clearances and 7 tackles across his finals (ignoring the early substitute years)
Had 30+ three times. He’s kicked 3 twice.
It’s a shame he’s never been more than serviceable in a GF. But he shows up.
You seem perpetually annoyed he’s not Dusty.
The dude played with an MCL injury that's usually a few weeks. If Parker can be who he is in normal games we would have won 2016 for a start.

I have to say, the criticism of him is built on shifting sand. Random, mid-season games seem to count against him in terms of 'big games', but his knockout finals games don't count because they're not the grand final.
And Lloydy goes bang
Surely Wicks gets goal of the week, month, year?
Amazing courage and skill. Disappointed that the club didn't recognise it. No shade on McLean as his was a very good goal but....That was a gutsy freak goal that triggered the swans comeback
For me I was just scared he was badly injured
I don’t know why the goal has been ignored by everyone
Maybe because he hurt himself which is not the look the AFL wants

I said in the autopsy that I'm a sucker for a big old drop punt from a set shot and even I couldn't go past Wicks' goal. It was not only quick thinking to get boot to ball in such a frenzy, but also courageous thinking to have no regard for his safety while doing so. It didn't even garner a post on the Swans' Instagram and dare I say it if Gulden had kicked that goal they'd be all over it. This is what gives me the shits about our media team.Amazing courage and skill. Disappointed that the club didn't recognise it. No shade on McLean as his was a very good goal but....
No need to shut up about it. Your opinion is as valid as anyone elses on here. You want to discuss it, go right ahead. That's the whole point of the board! He averages 6 turnovers a final too I think,
Im annoyed he isnt Luke Parker when the whips crack, wouldn't compare him to dusty in a million years,
Maybe I am too harsh, but everyone else on this board cops it, and all you read is Parker is some all time bloods great. Jpk, hanners, Mitchell , Kirk, etc all stood up way more in big games, Hope Parker has a big game friday, I expect more from him,
But ill shut up about it sorry, just think heeney has been as good as parker in finals.
If Parker can be who he is in normal games we would have won 2016 for a start.
He can make the difference
I wonder who chooses the MOTW/GOTW? Surely they don't leave it to the social team.I said in the autopsy that I'm a sucker for a big old drop punt from a set shot and even I couldn't go past Wicks' goal. I think what’s made him as good a player as he is is he always goes 100% regardless of the game, or the situation within the game.
He’s got his limitations (size, agility, speed and disposal), but the intensity with which he plays overcomes those most of the time.
But when other teams lift their intensity to match, like they do in grand finals, those limitations are exposed.

Agree 100%. Parker isn't a #1 mid. And that's what we've asked of him over the past few years.I think what’s made him as good a player as he is is he always goes 100% regardless of the game, or the situation within the game.

Should be Nick.I hope they're not getting anyone more important to spend time on it!
Should be Nick.
That's for the AFL Goal of the Week.Don't they ask us to vote on it?
