Still, 3 players are not the reason, especially since we got smashed in all three Grand Finals in pretty much the same way, each time we were left wondering "why aren't the Swans in the game".
That is a coaching issue, not an individual player issue.

Horse has been exceptional, to get a side to GFs with a full forward of Joel Amirtey and McDonald (even fit) is an incredible achievement.. Without aggressively targeting a forward they are wasting the talent on their list. Stringer isn’t perfect but would fill a hole until something better came along.

Some supporters don’t know how lucky they are.
I’ve seen two in my lifetime. Been smashed in one. The only win was on the other side of the continent due to a global pandemic and I couldn’t go.
I know it sucks to lose four from five but I’d rather that than the rabble my club is right now.

For a team that seems so professional at every other time in the year, its bizarre that they have been absolutely belted in three Grand Finals.

Then maybe it's time the Sydney members did something about it instead of whinging on social media and on bigfooty. Don't renew memberships for the 2025 season. Change will only happen if members are willing to at least try and force change. Doing nothing means the members are part of the problem.
The time for members to act is now. It's simple - do not renew membership.
Its all too easy to whinge and do nothing. Now is the perfect opportunity to send a very clear and strong message that change needs to happen.

Not all of them didn't renew their membership so those members turned to water as well. It requires an "all in" effort.

Another example of Longmire not valuing clearance players. He did not value Tom Mitchell, he doesn't play Sheldrick, didn't play Adams for the finals and traded Hewett away.

Yep. Longmire has never valued clearances and it really shows in Grand Finals. It isn't just the clearance numbers, it is how clean and easy the clearances are for the opposition. You can't defend a clean and fast clearance.

Oh well. Then nothing will change....only when the club feels like it.
Unfortunately it is very very rare for a coach to be sacked when they are either in or near the top 4, even if there are very clear issues with how they coach.
I mean who was the last coach sacked in a year they finished top 4?

He's coached in 5 of the last 13 grand finals for one flag. Yet oddly, of the 6 premierships that make up the Hawthorn and Richmond dynasties during that time, only 1 was against Sydney.
Would love to look at the stats but it seemed like a very open game today.

Syd 306 possessions v Bris 65 tackles = 4.7 possessions per tackle.
Sydney's opponents are 15th for tackles per game. They are 13th. So their games aren't usually tackle-fests normally.
