I think everybody needs to roll a joint and put another log on the fire. Seriously some of you people have got no idea on how a football administration works. The fact of the matter is Richmond have a lot of young undeveloped players. While I love the enthusiasm you have in the young talent, you cannot replace a whole team in one week. It has to be done gradually until a team can be found which can play consistent football. This may still be a few weeks away but I agree we're heading in the right direction. Wouldn't it be great to be a fly on the wall at the selection table. Do not be surprised if we struggle against the Demons but we should just get over the line. Anyway go tiges!!!!

JON has been ordinary granted, but he has been showing good signs and deserves a shot. Massive question marks over whether he will make it, but he has time on his side.i see JON is on an extended bench

Wouldn't it be better to pay out on him *after* the game?
FFS Everybody keeps harping on about JON he is still a kid he hasnt had a chance to show anything yet FFS how long did Tigers stick with them 2 duds Tivendale and Pettifer F*****k I couldnt believe how long they have been on the list FFS how many games has JON played for the Tigers.?
Rance is only a slim chance to play doesnt Terry normally announce the debut on the Tuesday wankfest , ( Cotchin was a late replacement ) , he should definatly get a crack against the Dees wont find an easier match up for him and can only gain confidence from the outing , Comn Terry play the kid , should of been perhaps another kid joining him if you had any guts. Hopefully he doesnt just play the older guys just to save his skin , he should be doing the right thing by the club he has made enough cash.

I also saw the spud play in the NAB cup....never seen anyone with less of an idea.

King injured? Thought he was dropped. I'm glad we didn't drop Schulz (still can).
Morton replaces Pettifer in the side. Riewoldt was always coming back in. Jackson takes Tivva's spot.
I hope JON/Rance get in for the 4th spot. I doubt there will be more than the 4 outs already named.

Hopefully Rance gets his chance. I also hope JON comes in. he needs four or five games right now to find out once and for all if he can cut it. If he can't take the next opportunity that is given to him, then he has run out of chances.
Really hope Morton plays and Riewoldt. Would like to see Polo in there as well.
Hyde and Jackson? I don't have a huge problem with Jackson, but I'd be disappointed to see Hyde back in.
Amazing in that we have had a great run with injuries this year and as soon as we cop three of them (Johnson, King and Thursty) it really exposes our lack of depth. All the more reason to play Rance, Jack and Mitch and Polo etc. Get some games into them. Get them up to speed with the tempo of senior footy. We aren't going to make finals this year. Get 10 games into these kids in the 2nd half of the year and we may just get something out of it and some handy draft picks as well.

Great post Tugga reackon you are on the money there mate got give the kids at least 5 games to see where their at they are not all going to be like Cotchin and star straight away it would be nice but it aint going to happen.

Exactly. There's no hard and fast rule that Rance has play a key position either. Play him on a flank or on a wing for the rest of the season if that's what it takes to get some games into him. Let him learn the tempo of the AFL footy from a comfort zone away from the key forwards. Once he bulks up and picks up the tempo of thegame and has the street smarts, then swing him into a key defensive spot. But play him for the rest of year and let him learn.

If he's not injured this is ridiculous, and you'd think he'd stay in Melbourne if he was. Though there's time for him to fly back I guess, if it's a family thing he's been given leave for...
His family is 4 hours+ from where Coburg are playing. He was here last week for 3 days so doubt he is home for anything family unless theres something private. Besides he is named in the side, not on the bench so doubt he wont play
