sh*t, as a relative newbie this growing myth and legend of Tigerbob is getting interesting😳. More please.

Bob is basically the wish version of T71. Appears similar on face value, but is really cheap and nasty, just how I like em.

******* hell! I might disappear for 10 years and everyone will remember me more fondly that I deserve too :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :drunk:
Best is just to smoke trees like me, then you can’t remember yesterday from 8 years ago so nothing matters

It is all a myth. tigs2010 is just jealous that's all.

Back on the subject, do we trust journalists anymore? I wouldn't take their info with a grain of crap. We know most footy journos just get their info from Tiger71 anyway.

Just search for the #sackdimma thread, the ultimate unintentional reverse moz.

Yep, that's a typo my bad. 3 will become 5.

If we trade them early we are trading for #3 with 7 & 16. If we trade them after 2 bids we are trading for #5 but our own picks will be worth less also (9 & 18, not 7 & 16). Still don't think any club would trade a top 5 pick for those two lower picks unless they are already flush for talent and genuinely think the draft is deep.

There's a lot of unknowns about this year but the top 5 or so is usually always elite.
It will still be pick 3 in essence as we already know that Darcy and daicos will be bid on and by whom.

I think the same people bagging the idea of Dunstan would be the same people not keen on Parker. Not because they are similar in playing style or quality - its more the thinking of short term / quick fixes - rather than long term thinking and building our next dynasty

Building a dynasty is like a once in a lifetime thing if you're lucky. This team is a once in a lifetime team. If we're lucky we get a year or 2 left with this core. You cash in hard on that now. Parker on like a 3 year deal isn't going to handicap as much when Cotch, Edwards, Jack etc retire in the next 2 years.

Bit of chatter about Lipinski to Pies.

Don't know how they would get it done though, they're still short 830 pts this year for the Daicos bid which will push their 1st next year (if it was 2 again) back out to 6 or if they trade that 1st to someones 1st this year (after the Daicos bid) would totally eliminate their 2nd round pick next year (pick 23)

I reckon though I could show them some sympathy and give them our pick 16 this year for their 1st next year (yes, I know my generosity is only exceeded by my good looks)

Straight swap for Max Lynch would make sense.

It's more of an example of what can be done and in response to another post. The dog's might move another player on to garner the points.
Yes, but you've introduced a very different set of stipulations, involving players not previously mentioned and of little or no consequence to Richmond. And as Meteoric Rise responded, the likelihood of Lipinski, Wallis and "the sweetener" generating that kind of draft capital is pretty slim. But point taken nonetheless.

Chances are, they're going to need to trade out of Pick#14 unless they part with some real genuine quality from their list eg. English, Dunkley etc. Scraps are not going to get it done in this climate.

Let the Pies have him, he's too slow for us

I don't think that the Tigers are planning on seeing an end to the dynasty, yes, the core will move on over the next few years but there's contingencies in place to keep rejuvenating the list. It's what we've been doing for the last 5 years at least and Matt Clarke alluded to the fact that we've learnt from other teams in how they've tried to extend their run.
