I’m just upset we can’t make ‘em suffer again this season
What are the chances Caddy went missing during the season ‘ for personal reasons ‘ due to a strike and it’s also the reason the club doesn’t mind if he ‘ explores his options ‘.

Well it should be a lot easier to when/if winning premierships at the pointer end and all the extras with that. Look at JR and his TV gigs.
If it helps the players play better, play longer, have more success why would they complain? No one really plays like him. He is what Higgins was not. Higgins was more a forward mid, he is more a mid forward. He lets Edward play more outside, Bolton, more outside and up forward which suits them, helps Cotch play a better suited role, helps Dusty have a breather and be more forward and focus on the cameos and match winning, RCD is a little different so RCD can find his way and his separate role that suits his different strengths, he can drift forward allowing Graham to get in there, helps Prestia inside, Ross also is a little different and not as forward focussed and Ross can actually learn from him. The other thing is apart from improving our midfield marking he can kick on his left foot which makes a big difference and helps our forward entrances. It might mean many players including Cotch and JR can play another year in a less intense role. If he did not compliment our mix there would be no sense in getting him. Guys like Dow can play outside as they develop and see how they grow while he provides needed inside strength and a chop out for Dusty so he can play longer and lengthen our window for the group and all the accolades with it. Cumberland could also learn from him as he develops
I think generally we have a lot of players that are more outside than inside, so his inclusion would naturally make them more effective not to mention some that are arguably more effective forward if not in the back half. The guys we have that are inside apart from Dusty and Cotch are arguablty not as multi dimensional. As he is multidimensional his role can adjust to fit our team members in and tailor their roles to be more effective for a better team mix. He can help Prestia in the midfield marking area by providing a target where Prestia can have a more defined role around the stoppages and surges and run in greater space provided, Graham can have a more specific role for him to suiting his run and contested work. Even guys like Castagna can concentrate on his surge stuff in more open space. Even Dusty is more effective with a bit more space if Parker is more the extractor apart from his forward brillance and Dusty lasts longer with less wear and tear
