Knightmare in his thread keep naming hypothetical trades where we are getting reamed

pick 7 & either Balta or Bolton to GWS for pick 2
pick 15 & 26 and Stacky to West Coast for pick 10

Saw that lmfao

Just trying to clarify something in regards to clubs matching bids... so Dogs and Pies are trying to load up on later picks for points to secure Darcy and Daicos yeah? So the picks they use to make up the points are null & void in the draft. Making later picks come right up the order... is that right? Let's say we have pick 50 come draft night, after Pies, Dogs and Possibly 1 or 2 other clubs bid on NGA players that pick 50 could potentially become a pick 40. Trying to remember how this worked in the past.

some people should just stick to draft watching without trying to go into list management. I'm not going to pot his draft analysis as it's a hard caper and you can't judge it for 5+ years, but honestly some of those suggested trades make this board look reasonable

Collingwood trade pick 22 and future 3rd (pick about 45 don't have it yet) for picks 41,47 and future 2nd

I am probably the one poster most in favour of trading futures out but I would not be doing that. Need to know which club the future 3rd would be.

Looks like the you are keen to death ride RFC's second and wish to value it at a certain point.

I am more interested in the Pies future second with Gold Coast

There will be some very handy prospects between picks 15-30 in this draft.

I would be forgetting about trading up from pick 7, rather then focussing all efforts on trading for dogs 17, GC 19, North 20.

I’d be even throwing next years picks atacquiring these picks. There is going to be players that will slide that are going to be very good players.

Ok I think I have a summary of what is suggested we do.
Upgrade to pick 5 by swapping picks 28 and 28 to Gold Coast and have them swap with Collingwood to land us 9.
Trade Caddy to North, get a future third for a current second, then swap our last year’s second rounder (which we stuffed up) for their pick 20. Trade Caddy back in then send him to Gold Coast for their second rounder.
take Tarrant, swap a future hack, inquire about Dunstan or Mitchell- laugh and say we were kidding, play hard ball on CCJ until we get a first rounder and kebabs from Norf. Ask if Fyfe or Cerra can be done then forget about it and trade Caddy back in.
We end up with picks 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 and 15.
Oh no wait that’s GWS and Gold Coast. Start negotiating again.

What’s he been smoking lol I wouldn’t trade Bolton or Balta for pick 2 outright let alone adding pick 7 (the 3 B’s are untouchable). The Coasters deal is a dumpster fire of a deal also. Guy has lost touch with reality, should stick to drafting.

Agree better off finding clubs like Gold Coast more amicable to trading their picks and not trying to screw you over.

I think trading for 19 is almost as important as trading for 17 because the Dogs can be problematic with trades to like when they where trading with GWS years back with Griffen and Boyd etc,, not to mention Treloar recently.

Bit like what the Pies poster said with 22 if we get 19 it gives us options including trading up to the likes of Essendon possibly or just staying put and using it in the draft as its a nice position

Imagine being told by Gold Coast you’re not wanted and that you’re essentially a salary dump, then still preferring to play there over North.

LOL - How is Judas Jones feeling now? Knowing that he is the only player in the last 5 years to actually chose to play for #lolNorf
