His Manager is the only reason he is waiting until after the season. Ralph Carr has done it with every client when their contract expired. Rioli will sign a new deal with us, zero doubtI don't have any special 'inside' knowledge on the matter, but I highly doubt Daniel will leave the club while Maurice is there.
Hopefully they'll play a lot of footy together.
Not against the idea.Carey agrees with my thoughts on this. Elton Johns Wig can attest, i have been talking about DeGoey to tiges for a while. Take personal opinion out of it, just think about what he could offer. And plenty of dickheads have turned careers around at second clubs.
Decision time looming: Is De Goey’s future black and white?
There are three clubs that should seriously be taking a look at how Jordan De Goey might fit into their plans: St Kilda, Sydney and Richmond.www.theage.com.au
I'm not sure where De Goey fits into our side. We've got Dusty and Shai there in that attacking 'striker' mid/forward role. A third one upsets the balance between attack and defense for me. Plus, De Goey's output doesn't really match what he wants to get paid.Carey agrees with my thoughts on this. Elton Johns Wig can attest, i have been talking about DeGoey to tiges for a while. I'd love him. Can't see it happening though. Someone else will offer alot more than we could and I wouldn't be surprised if cotch and/or Jack go around again so we might not have much room in the cap as many of us were expecting before the season.Carey agrees with my thoughts on this. Attacking style got us 3 flags.I'd love him. Can't see it happening though. Someone else will offer alot more than we could and I wouldn't be surprised if cotch and/or Jack go around again so we might not have much room in the cap as many of us were expecting before the season.
Also can we have Dusty, Bolton and De Goey in the same team? It's very attacking.

With Cotch, Edwards and Jack coming to a close on their careers, can we play Dusty more forward and rotate with a DeGoey? There’s gonna be spots opening up with retirements.I'd love him. Karl Amon.Apart from Tom Green the next question is who are we signing with the $1.2M in free space in 2023-24?
Caleb Serong
Noah Anderson
Finn Callaghan
Luke Davies-Uniake
Then we could finally drop GeorgeKarl Amon.
I'm all for change. Then we could finally drop George
Would def be our new whipping boy
How come won’t be watching?I'm all for change.
I won't be watching in 2023 to manage my blood pressure. Let Amon stink it up!
While he's inconsistent and carries off field issues, I'd still take the punt! He's a dangerous footballer capable of breaking games apart in minutes! Wouldn't be offering him a mill a year but would be comfortable with a $750-$800k 4 year dealCarey agrees with my thoughts on this. Yeah maybe. We are pretty desperate for a gun mid but Dusty/De Goey splitting 50/50 mid forward at their best is mouth watering. The guy has history of being a dickhead so there is inherent risk but he only just turned 26, has top 10 potential and is a free agent. That's a lot of boxes ticked. Stringer had similar question marks when he left the dogs and he's been a great pickup for Essendon apart form the injuries which you can't do much about. With Cotch, Edwards and Jack coming to a close on their careers, can we play Dusty more forward and rotate with a DeGoey? True. No need to defend when you've got the ball.Attacking style got us 3 flags.
My blood pressure is high and the stress of the umpiring is not good for me. It gives me chest tightnessHow come won’t be watching?
With a bit of luck Benny Gale will be in charge
De Goey is an absolute massive NO for Richmond.People forget that for most of his career DeGoey doesn’t actually perform all that well. Certainly doesn’t consistently perform to the level that he gets paid
When you add to that the fact that the one space he is consistent is being a complete knob off field I don’t see why you’d risk it
Yep this is his last chance at a pay day unless he starts/continues(?) a meth dealing business.DeGoey is an interesting one because he’s a FA and you are giving up nothing but salary cap space.
My concern would be how does it affect our re-signing Shai or trading for Green 2023.
I know many have the impression he’d come to us on our $ terms, but more often than not you need to offer something significant to get players to swap clubs. And it’ll most likely be his last contact so we’ll be looking at long term on big $

Will be a big part of Tasmania's midfield going forward.Could we throw something big at horne Francis?
