Let me guess you went to school in Toronto ?sorry i went to school wit a steve tarranto got my christian names mixed up
That is where the former club paying some of the contract comes in to it, which then impacts the value of the pucks handed over.If that is the actual case then whats to stop say Richmond from refusing to trade him ?
If there is no benefit and costing the club it would be a hindrance on the players ability to move to his desired club.
There has to be mechanisms in place for the player to terminate his contract without the club being r*ped
Can you send a pic of your misses / home or anything else you have , I may be willing to do a deal with you ?Dusty and our first for Taranto and Hopper.
You wouldn't do that deal? Can you send a pic of your misses / home or anything else you have , I may be willing to do a deal with you ?
Big home ?You wouldn't do that deal?
Call it a hunch , I just don’t see gws exciting dustyThat is where the former club paying some of the contract comes in to it, which then impacts the value of the pucks handed over.
If GWS/Sydney were to take Dusty on and pay his full contract value themselves then we'd get a lesser value in picks given they're taking on the contract.
However if he wanted to move and we agreed to pay some of the contract, then the value of the trade increases.
Good point, Sydney have the track record to accommodate a Dusty. His agent will push him there.Call it a hunch , I just don’t see gws exciting dusty

I certainly wouldn’t want us helping out the AFL or Sydney with any trade of Dusty ….. both entities are corruptHow on earth is Sydney still getting favors. First, it was Lockett then it was Franklyn, and even the talk of dusty to them WTF. Surely if he wanted a move to Sydney the AFL would push him towards GWS lifting the profile?
3 way trade. We get Hopper and Taranto, Swans get dusty(we pay no wages) and GWS get 2 first round picks from the swans. might be some other pick swaps etc as well. What I don't get is that we've been linked to both Taranto and Hopper, and yet it's the Swans that are getting linked to Dusty and not GWS?
Caro has changed her mind about dusty to Sydney
‘It’s on’: Swans ‘show interest’ as Richmond now ‘looking at life beyond Dusty'

Yeah probably. I still reckon we pickup Matt Crouch for cheap. Averaging 27 disposals and 4.1 clearances a game @ 74% DE this season. Only just turned 27 and a former all Australian and best and fairest winner. Over his injury issues. We don't need, can't afford and won't get Hopper and Taranto. One or the other.
I don't think Dusty gets two firsts.3 way trade. We get Hopper and Taranto, Swans get dusty(we pay no wages) and GWS get 2 first round picks from the swans. might be some other pick swaps etc as well.
Doubt Richmond would even consider him as he can't cover the ground which is why he keeps getting dropped for Adelaide - doesn't run hard defensively.Yeah probably. He's not glamorous but cracks in and would be handy feeding the ball out to Sonsie, Bolton, Graham etc. Good replacement for Cotchin for little cost.
Sounds like Will Brodie and Jarryd Lyons.Doubt Richmond would even consider him as he can't cover the ground which is why he keeps getting dropped for Adelaide - doesn't run hard defensively.
Dimma only cares for midfielders high aerobic ability and 2 way runners.

Would prefer we go all or nothing, big name genuine A grader at a prime age like Taranto or just back our kids and developmentYeah probably. I still reckon we pickup Matt Crouch for cheap. Yep it does as we had no interest in either, so it does stack up.Sounds like Will Brodie and Jarryd Lyons.
Averaging more tackles, tackles inside 50, pressure acts and defensive half pressure acts than both Cotchin and Prestia this season. There’s a reason they’re not playing him. He can find it no problems but he’s not working hard enough defensively. What’s going to change if we pick him up?
