I'd chuck Balta or Miller up fwd if injuries occur. Give Balta another year to develop his craft. We're almost too tall down back anyhow. Tarrant, Gibcus, Balta, Miller, Grimes, Broad. Having said that, we need to be drafting a KPF. So maybe McAsey is that development tall.

No offence dude but I think we have all witnessed that Balta and Gibcus do not work as forwards.

No way. Now we are getting our midfield sorted lets just leave Balta and Gibcus back. We have a 10 year pairing down there and will have a rock solid defence all year. Could be the best in the league. Shift Miller around if we have to but no doubt the club have a fwd lined up in they're already speaking with

Have to agree with this.
Currently no team has a particularly good hand to swap with North for pick 1.
GWS likely to get more picks to add to pick 3 as the most likely.
Or maybe Bulldogs, depending what they get for Dunkley to add to pick 11.

Smacks of them kicking themselves for not taking our offer last year and they didn't get full value for pick 1 cos Daicos is a much better player than JHF who's likely to go home after a couple of years anyway.

FWIW we offered 7 + 15 + 26 + CCJ and Adelaide offered pick 4 + this years 5 + 14 (Melb 1st) for pick 1 + 19 (this year)

The TRUE reason is they know 100% Horne Francis is goneski end of 2023 and they don't wanna have egg on their face having same thing happening the following year. Carlton could at least brown paper bag their No. 1's to staying or the incentive of playing at a big club on the G. What confident kid deemed the best in the land wants to play for that embarrassing rabble. Good luck developing these kids when Clarko IS the soft cap. They f@cked up last year no-one will offer anywhere near what they got offered again.
