Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

Miller has no killer instinct. At least with Lynch and Riewoldt you have two competitive beasts. If you’re playing KP you have to have at least that.
I’d move Miller on, but not sure you’d get any takers.
Agreed the bloke has no ticker, give me a KPP that plays with intent and doesn’t get out bodied in every contest.
One more year to run on his contract

We could give him to Carlton as the missing piece; he could help find Curnow.

We still owe them for Yarran.

Todd Marshall a restricted free agent next year. One to keep an eye on.

I can also confirm that every Victorian club is also working on or will be working on a Cadman whilst he remains out of contract beyond 2024.
Maybe a Cadman thread ala Tom Green needs to be started 😂

Most likely he plays next year alongside Hogan and re-signs. He’s a big part of the equation for GWS going forward

As a KPF Miler was useless. Trying to make him and Pickett some negating type players did not work. Our forward line was a horror show. Defensive small fwds; Mansell, MRJ, Coulthard; Graham, Prestia, Cotch rolling through; Nank, Soldo and Ryan as marking targets. No Lynch and a fast ageing Jack Riewoldt.

Bauer and Ryan were success stories as was Young. Kosi IN means Lynch, Kosi and Bauer/Cumbo could be good marking line up. Move Prestia to midfield. Rotate Dusty and Shai. Use 1 small fwd.

If Graham, Mansell, MRJ, Coulthard, Young or Gibcus have to play some VFL then that's a boost for the VFL team. I'd be dropping Hopper too and one of Broad/Grimes.

Pickett to wing or VFL too

Riccardi had a pretty good year. GWS started using 2 KPF instead of 3. Riccardi just resigned too. But they're not going to leave No 1 in the VFL forever.

See how Lynch looks in 24.

The Todd Elton strategy has bit us in the bum before, I would rather not repeat it!
Miller is a rookie listed player who doesn't take up a senior list spot or much money in terms of cap space. He can play across all 3 lines if required, we're not risking anything by keeping him for his final year.

Is Miller on the rookie list?

In that case, I would keep him also. Lock him into CHB and leave him there as ready to go KPD if we get any injuries.

He has been named on all 3 lines, sure. But he can only play decent AFL footy on one of them.

Given he was dropped for the prelim not sure what his value would be , but Brodie Kemp has played some good intercepting footy in the back half of the year.
If we were going to get one of the guys that Carlton dropped then I would much prefer Cunningham (if uninjured he looks like a player that can play the Lambert role) or Owies (a genuine pressure forward/goal sneak).

According to footywire he is. If Yze is going to give players defined roles then telling Miller you're playing KPD and giving him the chance to settle in 1 role rather than throwing him around may just allow him to find that consistency that he has lacked.

As I just said if Yze is going to give players clearly defined roles then Miller is worth persisting with for his final year and seeing what unfolds. As a rookie it doesn't hurt us list/cap wise and gives us ready to go back up just in case.
