Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

It will be interesting to see how Yze uses him, thats for sure.

I still believe though that what's best for Dan's form is not necessarily best for Richmonds form. Our backline has been below average to average in his tenure down back. As a unit, the backline has not been very cohesive.

Our 2020 GF backline was this, with Broad & Short rotating through it. I thought this was one of our best backlines

I think we likely could d something very similiar

b: Young Balta Grimes/Broad
HB: Baker Vlaustin Short

With Gibcus, Trevize, Mansell sitting in the wings, we also have ample back-up in most backline roles. I think we have needed more decisive movement up forward that doesn't rely on a selfish motivation ( ie Dusty, Bolton & Cumberland ball ) & I think Dan has always been the most obvious guy to be the leader of that down forward, where he won 3 flags.

The forward structure was beyond broken when Dan had to move back. His drop in form coincided with the same thing from Georgie & Aarts - it was not an entirely "him" problem
Yze alluded in the interview on 3 Always Wong that our defensive unit of the recent past was not upto scratch.Didn't name names of course but thinks it needs a tune up.
Hope he doesn't tinker with Rioli.

Riccardi had a pretty good year. GWS started using 2 KPF instead of 3. Riccardi just resigned too. But they're not going to leave No 1 in the VFL forever.

See how Lynch looks in 24.
They'd move on Hogan or Riccardi before Csdman one would think if it came down to playing a 2 fwd system.

If Gold Coast are legitimately looking at moving on Hollands I hope we're having a good look. Excelled in the VFL Grand Final today with 30 disposals 10 tackles & 6 clearances. From Werribee former VFL Tiger Shaun Mannagh will no doubt have clubs taking another look, 25 years old and had 28 disposals & 6.2 in a losing side and won the Norm Goss medal for BOG

Agree with both. I’d like us to have a hit at Shaun in the draft, especially with us having late picks only.

I wonder how we could possibly land Elijah, unless dimma sees a player he would like in terms of ‘culture building’ for a swap.

There was some initial chat about them maybe moving him on for list space, but I doubt it now.

There goes our pick 25 - Mannagh

On paper Dusty, Bolton, Taranto, Hopper, Prestia is up there but we haven't seen them perform anywhere near their best as a unit. Hopefully Yze can fix that. Harmes won't move the needle either way. I'd rather see Jack Ross in the middle than Harmes, at least he has composure and far better by foot.

We shall see I guess.....

Not too mention Sonsie and Dow. Get Dow to Fifty Games.
I’m a fan of fridge and he’ll have a better year next year.

According to footywire he is. If Yze is going to give players defined roles then telling Miller you're playing KPD and giving him the chance to settle in 1 role rather than throwing him around may just allow him to find that consistency that he has lacked.
Starts in the VFL for me and has to work on his toughness to earn an AFL recall! Got a whole year to demo that trait!
If not goneski/flickoli!

I'm happy to see Graham and Kmac go.

In reality, we are not winning it in 2024, so we need to fast track some of these young mids to the 50 game mark.

I would hate to see JG and KM stop the likes of Sonsie, Dow, Banks, Brown etc getting games in season 2024.
Well said.

Spot on.
Take what u want from this, but plumber on site this morning said he is good mates with Harmes. Caught up with him on weekend and said he will be at tigers next year. Not sure on my thoughts on this as he is similar to JG imo.

I would add Marlion to that too.

Marlion was asked to play as a secondary forward target for most of the year. He’s NOT a forwardline player, let alone a marking target!! He’s a mid that is tough, hard at it and runs all day with decent skills and awareness/decision making ability. Play him in his best spot, the wing!!

Harmes is a better mid than Graham, who is elite at hunting the man, but not so much the ball.

I think Harmes could play a Lambert role in our midfield, but I think he's too old.
