Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

I have come on here to say contrary but on Nick's Bulletin Board (a Collingwood forum independent of BigFooty) there was a post about Ginnivan.

"A bloke I spoke with is mates with Ginni's father. He said Ginni is off to Richmond next year, personally disappointed if true."

No idea how that deal gets done and personally think it's optimistic at best. Others might know more and I'm curious.

You don't hear either of them when the assistance favours their teams, which it has recently.
Remember when we were starting our rebuild at the same time as the expansion clubs were comin in and when asked if we should get concessions due to the compromised draft and Vlad basically said - "yeah nah suck shit they should've managed their list better":$

From a Pies perspective, considering he is contracted, you'd need to be giving up a late first or early second. He's a young player, has shown he's up to the level and is in our best 23 (Fly sees it as a 23, not a 22).
If he’s worth a late first then my nutsack is worth 2! Ya kidding, played multiple games in the vfl this year, what did you guys pay for bobby hill again?? Who’s the better player

The difference was Hill wanted to return home and was out of contract, Ginnivan's not. High potential, too.

if you think he doesent get rewarded free kick wise playing for your mob,
he will be treated 10 times worse palying for us

Lets not kid ourselves, Ginnivan would be our best small forward. Some question marks over his attitude but I believe he has somewhat sorted that out this year. If we lost Soldo and gained Ginnivan that'd be a win.

I dont believe the rumour though. He's not coming.

Lol, what? Ginnivan is apparently contracted and Collingwood would need to send a decent pick to us to get us to take over his contract. If a club was desperate for him, he'd be worth a 3rd round pick at best. He is an absolute nothing recruit, who doesn't tackle, doesn't pressure, barely gets the ball and doesn't get involved in many scores. If we want a player of that ilk we already have Cumberland.

Hosie kicked 6G in sanfl GF yesterday guess who picked him up in mid season draft and axed him 3mth later ,,,,fair dinkum, giving these clowns a bunch of draft picks is like standing on a burning deck with a pocket full of crackers
The SANFL is only a wrung up from a country football league, nothing to get excited about. McBean has won the SANFL goal kicking award (Ken Farmer Medal) 3 times, that is how weak the comp is.

In relation to being like Geelong about regenerating, they basically had their elite players throughout their era as they were young, so selwood in the midfield and Hawkins as the target up front. They regenerated their support which you can do. We lost reiwoldt and cotchin, replaced cotchin with taranto and hopper, but koshitzke doesn't replace reiwoldt.

Not that I am advocating anyone leaving, but if we have a down 2024 as we check over all the younger players, then players leaving like Baker may get a big package and another early 1st round pick which would then be the building blocks of our next premiership team. Or if graham or soldo leave as free agents it could be early rd 2 compensation.

We will do our best next year I'm sure but without any players coming in this year next year will most likely be just a rotation through the younger players to see who can make it. Which pretty much means we have little to do except get good development and conditioning coaches in

Season 23 in the absence of Lynch it was Jack R Andrew a cast of thousands rotating up fwd.

The midfield of tarranto, hopper, Cotch, Prestia, Graham, Bolton, Dusty and Dow later, didn't work.

And despite how poorly the season went we were too close to making the 8 that Mini could not play the kids. Or drop senior players.
Yze has no loyalty to any player so I hope we clean the slate. We have a number of players who missed the whole season, so we don't need a lot of picks in this draft. Any FA KPF is required. I'd have liked Riccardi but Kosi fine.. Lynch is a watch, but Dusty money freed up end of 24.

Coulthard, Cumberland, Bauer, Ryan can play. As can Sonsie, Clarke, Banks, tresise. As can Young, Brown , gibcus.

Throw in a Game plan change Will be interesting to see.
24 might be a good season with a new coach
Play the best available and if flag players are in the VFL then fine. Let's boost that team too.
Sun's VFL team was full of AFL players.
RFC haven't matched bids on players wanting to leave. Jeez. Baker. He's captain material..
From WA. Eagles want him? They are managing a transition. Bringing in low cost depth players. Post Tim Kelly anyway, in the rebuild phase..

I'm not convinced he'd even get a game.

Would need to have the defensive side of the game heavily coached into him, which isn't often successful. A bit like Cumbo really — they have similar issues.

Straight swap with Cumberland
