Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

Rubbish. So many more factors to it than purely hitouts to advantage. Our midfielders walk taller with him in the side. Listen to Timmy T on that Ausmerican Aces pod and he reckons we have a far better year had Nank not been out injured and suspended.

The players voted him in for a reason.

Simply throwing him away for whatever you can get a) weakens the side through a lesser ruckman taking his place and more importantly b) destroys any semblance of club culture in doing so.

Again though it’s all a pointless argument, you can dislike Nank all you like but they simply aren’t trading him out and I for one at glad about that.

Yes there is. Clearances. Nank doesn’t generate many when he’s rucking, hence we get ****ing done straight out the front of the stoppage.

Move on FFS, the Hopper deal is history now all the whinging and whining won’t change a thing. Real supporters will just get behind Hopper in the hope he gets back to his best which is bloody good. Even if he doesn’t there is nothing we can do about it.
It was so quiet last week.

You’re living with blinkers on if you don’t think the AFL manipulate compo based on teams ladder position and the level of assistance a team might need to help them become good again. That’s why the formula isn’t available for everyone to see.

The AFL absolutely hates dynasties. They want a comp where half the teams have a chance to win it every year. Why else do you change the rules?

I'm happy to see Soldo go for the right price, no way should we just let him go for a better opportunity elsewhere.
Give us your 1st rounder next year Port for our future second rounder.
This will then give us 2 first rounders next year to try and get King from the suns.
Which could be only 6 spots apart. Yuk.

A pick inside top 25 for kosi is a joke. We should be giving a late token pick.
If that's what they wanted then they should've played him. My guess is that this is just their starting point for negotiations and that they'll bring it way down from that.

If that's their final offer then they can keep him.

Eh the contract status isn't a big deal nowadays. If Geelong are able to swindle Port to get 22 for Esava who is out of contract, then I'm sure we can take advantage of some other schmuck team.
Always a club looking for a solid ruck.
Gawn is on his last legs next year .

big demands for a player that is out of contract October 31st. Pure posturing by the Hawks we well and truly hold the whip hand here
You can tell the fill ins are in the chair at haw these days ,
pro outfits like the cut and dry deals done early to harvest some collateral in event something comes up they like , not these mental short people , straight out of dildos playbook when he offered a future r4 for Bobby hill 12m later he’s a norm smith at coll

Apparently Blair Hartley was witnessed dropping a big sack off out the back of AFL House.

Upon inspection Hugo Ralphsmith and Thommy Dow were inside the sack which had a note pinned to it that "read free to good home".

Unfortunately, they were returned to the RFC......more to follow.

We could drag him thru psd , there won’t be many in front of us and If we put terms on his deal , no way do I see him being snaffled from us , we did it with houli

Spot on! These clowns are carrying on like they have the whip hand. He's uncontracted ffs. Pick 65 or PSD, **** you hawks

hear we are also chatting with Tom Hawkins. Hard to argue that wouldn't make us a contender given how much of an issue our forward line was this year

Don't quit your day job.

To be fair, I did think pies list was in a bit of disarray especially with the whole Grundy and treloar cap issues. But I rated their youth coming through and then recruited a generational talent in Daicos.
You’re a lot more optimistic with your comparisons than me, and that’s fine, hope you’re right

Their youth? Other than Naicos what have they got? Josh Daicos is 24yr, 10 months… here are players under that age:

Kreuger : Poo
Carmichael : Poo
Richards : Poo
Murphy : good (but about to be retired due to concussion)
Quaynor : good
B Hill: good
Kelly : Poo
McReery: Poo
Dean: Poo
Macrae: poo
Begg : Poo
Ginnivan: Poo
McInnes: Poo
Naicos: Star
Steene: Poo
Harrison: Poo
Allan: Poo
Ryan: Poo

Of courses there’s a couple of untried youngsters … but seriously, overall their youth is pretty shabby. Naicos has covered over loads of problems. In fact, they’ve been gifted a flag by father/son miraculous luck : Daicos x 2 top-2 in B&F plus their captain Darcy Moore. Plus wasn’t Quaynor a next gen academy selection? And Pendles was a priority pick….… can’t get much luckier than that.

We have no father sons, no next gen academy and no charity draft selections remaining. We had to earn our flags, not have them gifted by sheer luck.

I''m not 100% against it personally (a good Hawkins is a huge asset), but there are a couple of concerns. For one, he'd turn 36 next year. He's also shown visible signs of slowing down this year. Bit risky to bring in a player like that.

My guess is that Geelong are probably offering him what he's currently worth and he's not happy with that.
