Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

Seriously half the youth called poo are actually decent or at this stage half decent, there’s a reason why Collingwood never stay down for long and that’s because they recruit well and draft well normally.

Of course the list was somewhat tongue in cheek. But the point is overall their youth is no better than ours and our 23-29yo are superior. They won a flag with great system, desire, Naicos and golden oldies still playing near their peak (Pendles, Howe, Sidey, Mitchell).

What the f* have Essendon achieved to become a destination club this trade period? Something smells fishy… maybe some brown bags of cash being handed under the table
They're throwing the highest pay cheque at trash or has-beens, no one else in the marketplace is stupid enough to pay them that cash/yrs. Its the destination for fringe players. Theres no need to worry.

I know our main target is Kosi but I just noticed that Sam Reid from the Swans will have to wait until end of the trade period to see if he gets another contract.

He's obviously very injury prone, but can't help but think that if Hawks continue to play hard ball on Kosi, and Reid wants a new home, that if we can get him for nothing he might be a handy fit for a couple of years?
How many games do you really think we would get from him - and then is the coin worth that?

Yeah to be clear I'd only want us to entertain it if the salary was on the cheap, cost us nothing via trade (although I'd imagine he'd be a UFA?), and if Hawks don't budge on wanting a pick in the 20s for Kozi.

Basically I'd prefer to have Reid than drastically overpay for Kozi, if it came to that.

Games wise, you're probably only getting half a season out of him realistically. Which admittedly is not great, but like I said, as a cheap, backup option if the Kozi stuff falls through, I'd look at it.

As of right now we’ve got picks 27, 48, 66. I’m assuming one of these will go for Kositchke.
How many list spots do we have open currently?
I’m concerned we may be clogging our list with junk late picks.

I think 2 or 3?

If I was to guess, 48 goes to Hawthorn for Koschitzke, we take someone at 27 (or whatever pick it eventually gets pushed down to after F/S and academy bids matched), and then look at some of our own VFL players, or like Tiger71 has said, look at players who have been playing well for other VFL sides such as Casey.

Not sure but is there a certain number of picks we have to use?
Rookies to get promoted and rookie draft picks to be done.

Not entirely serious but the threat of the PSD doesn't hold as much weight when we're down the order a bit.

See above. Also there is the possibility that Hawthorn could still negotiate with him before October 31st and re-sign him.

It does hold weight when the club doesn't value you, offering 1 year at 150K says it all. Come on RT deep down you know this.
They just offered Chol 5 years at decent coin. There's no way they are going to resign Kosi, well hypothetically speaking if they do it will be at 3 years minimum and double what they offered, for Kosi to remotely consider it.

At Richmond he knows he will double up with Lynch and at the Hawks likely to continue playing ressies, yeah nah, it's not going to happen that they would redraft him if he went into the PSD.

y do u want to lament another 2-3 years with Nank? ,the least influential ruckman in the league & slowest mid we have on the list
hes stifling our progress in there, his 1 wood is his tackling, thats it,thats his trick, thats all hes got
Ridiculous to think he’s the least influential. I’ve been a big critic of nanks lack of discipline and stupid decision making but he’s in the top 5 rucks in the league.

how does norf "please sir I want some more " melbourne get pick 3 for an injury prone dud in mckay he has done nothing for 10 years

It’s the AFLs way of giving them a priority pick without giving them a priority pick

I’ve never seen a pro comp reward mediocrity as much as these clowns. It’s a joke

Yeah but I meant anyone on here. Would be an upgrade on McIntosh and Pickett imo
Would at least be competition for JGTI. I've said a few times I like Billings and we need some foots skills. Would cost little in a trade. A potential issue is that he'd probably stall the development of Judson Clarke.
