Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

You don't get compo for a bloke whose last game - and an awful one at that - was in 2022.
When they last played doesn't factor into compo. Contract value and age do though, so if GC gives him a contract in the top 70% of players in the league, then we'll get a compo pick, unless we recruit a free agent of greater value.

How about that bulldogs bloke liam jones?

Richmond (7): Jacob Bauer, Kaelan Bradtke, Mate Colina, Thomson Dow, Rhyan Mansell, Bigoa Nyuon (unrestricted free agent), Hugo Ralphsmith.
Tiger greats Trent Cotchin and Jack Riewoldt are joining Robbie Tarrant and Jason Castagna in retirement, but Kamdyn McIntosh, Jack Graham and Marlion Pickett, like co-captain Toby Nankervis early in the season, met contract triggers that extended them into next year. Mid-season draftees Matt Coulthard and James Trezise and Tasmanian rookie Seth Campbell have also re-signed for another year. Dow’s impressive return to the senior side bodes well for his chances of staying a Tiger, while Bauer kicked two goals in the same round 22 game against St Kilda. Ralphsmith has played 26 matches across the past two seasons, and is tipped to receive another contract. Nyuon has toiled away in the VFL in 2023, but offers key-position and ruck depth, especially with Riewoldt and Tarrant departing.
I think we have to keep most given the retirements and we have rd 2, 3 and 4 draft picks. How many open positions do we have?

We should be checking them out too, their VFL team is destroying everyone.
Definitely shouldn't be delisting George until we get ours

Listen here clowns, how the * do you think GC get Dusty and also retain the picks required for points get their 3 elite kids in the door???

They cant afford to give up an early pick for Dusty. They also cannot afford his salary or even close to it.

The only crazy way they could make it happen is to trade out elite kids for more picks and why the eff would they do that?

Dusty isnt worth a top 10 pick FFS, this board would be broken if we traded a top 10 pick for a 33 year old player of any given talent level. Calm ya ****, you are embarrassing us all.
I totally agree, Dusty is worth 3 X 1st Round picks and KFC all round.

Wish T71 was around to sort this bullshit dusty talk out, campaigners who believe he's leaving and we are getting 4 for him are delusional.
Yep, came for the trading and free agency talk and accidently fell into the "what is the most stupid trade for Dusty?" thread.

You see there was this bloke called Lachie weller.... and bowes... and gibbs.... trades are valued at how much the club want or need a player, and that need is greatest when the player is the missing piece to a premiership

Tom Hickey departs the Swans at years end. Retired.

Wonder what they would pay for an experienced ruckman? They always believe they are in the Premiership window…..

A minimum should be 40 KFC family feasts, Dylan Stephens and a 2nd round pick.

So has Ceglar at the Cattery. And Stanley is 33 and shit.

Clearly Grundy would be the first choice ruckman available, but if the Dees want a 1st rounder for him, I reckon Soldo would be the next best option for clubs (Swans, cats, Port) only willing to part with a 2nd rounder.
I’d take that. Probably the only currency we have that we’d move on.

we’d be lucky to get anything worthwhile for JGTI or Hugo and we‘re stuck with KMac & Marlion.

Terry lamb contested the nrl draft and a court ruled in his favour. It was deemed a restriction of trade.

chalk and cheese. Lot of water under the bridge since then and as stated by others, the AFL looks very closely at the US in conjunction with our laws. Ain't no way the Players Association will sign off on being traded without consent, and in reply, some of those freedoms players might want are also off the table.

How much would they pay for Soldo? form wise Soldo looking a lot more valuable.
Soldo's best football is the next 5 years, we'd be crazy to trade him for a second round pick.

However Nanks best football was the last five years, we'd be crazy not to cash in if there was an opportunity to a three time premiership ruckman and Club Captain, got to be able to trade him in for a late first round pick, right lol
