Hello Tiger fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

tugga you may like to sticky or merge this post, move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread.

That surprises me if true because as hard as Richmond fans we're on Castagna it was Dimma dropping at the end that caused his retirement he knew he was no longer in the best team.
George, needs a paycheck, his tattooing is worse than his kicking lol

Thanks NitroDumbass (ND), now I finally worked out why Chaos has been doing all my tatts upside down lol

You don't trade for role players, you create role players with what you already have.

There's only one sort of player Dimma would trade for with this plethora of players at Gold Coast.... A genuine finals match winner.

Dimma will have absolutely ZERO interest in and fringe/role player at any club, not just Richmond.

If Dusty wants to leave, then the games begin, if not, it will be a very short conversation with our club officials.
Role players need to sacrifice for the team and generally accept less money and less glory. As a generalisation, high draft picks expect to play prominent roles and be well known and well paid. As we have seen at the Suns over the years talent isn’t the problem it is attitude

But Ablett could be comparable to Dusty, and he want to Geelong for pick 19 and a 2nd rounder with Ablett Pick 24 and another 4th coming back

It’s always difficult using other trades as a baseline for value because for every example another example exists that is different
Ablett's body was already ****ed though. Dusty is still at the top of his game.

BS.
It was social media bs that sent George into retirement.

Dimma is in love with JGTI since the 2019 Prelim...

Full credit to him on the night to do what he did, it was unbelievable, but Dimma has been letting him hang off that ticket for the last 2 years...

He might want 'Role Players' to go and do the hard work to compliment their supposed star youth, so I wouldn't be surprised if JGTI is one he looks at first.

Geoege maybe because it's a free swing of sorts, but that would be about it I would Imagine.

Gold Coast need picks for points.
We can’t offer them much to satisfy that.
Can't we give them round 2 and 3 for their rd 1 this year and next + a stake knives of someone they don't need + salary odf their books, and dusty can backend a new deal. Dusty makes them premiership contenders so if they want to be a shot in 2024 they need to pay up!

GWS desperately need a tagger that doesn't tag and a small forward that is more likely to kick the ball into his own forehead than he is to kick a goal.

Melbourne also a premiership contender with lynch up forward. A top 10 pick for him thanks. And Soldo as ruck at Adelaide. We can rebuild in one draft gents!!!

Based on what evidence? he got injured before the season started was already in & out of the team the year prior.
He stated he had lost the hunger in his retirement speech. he may have been able to get back in but it was a long shot he was going to be in our best 22 going forward.

I think the Suns talk of getting Castagna is just noise, why? because he had lost his hunger & pressure well before he started getting dropped by Dimma that was evident.

You don't retire from your livelyhood because of what some idiot says online, far more players are bashed & criticized more heavily in the media than Castagna, who was only really critcized by some of own supporters media really didn't even take notice of him & only some opposition supporters used to laugh at his skills, take Taranto who has been bashed in the media way more high profile than what Castagna recieved.

George would be great up there, he can set the example Dimma needs to get everyone to run and chase.
Can we offload TT and hop? get our draft pics going and start fresh, we are not making finals anytime soon until we get young fresh blood up to speed.
Look at our list, we only have a handful of quality players players left...It was Shai and Dusty that got us over the line vs North, we would've lost to them it wasn't for their class and brilliance.

Dimma mentioned his one regret this year was not protecting George.

If George is gonig to the Suns, then it will most likely be as a free agent ,which means there's potential for us to get a compo pick depending on the value of his contract.
pick 69

Are you having a laugh ??

Richmond (7): Jacob Bauer, Kaelan Bradtke, Mate Colina, Thomson Dow, Rhyan Mansell, Bigoa Nyuon (unrestricted free agent), Hugo Ralphsmith.
Tiger greats Trent Cotchin and Jack Riewoldt are joining Robbie Tarrant and Jason Castagna in retirement, but Kamdyn McIntosh, Jack Graham and Marlion Pickett, like co-captain Toby Nankervis early in the season, met contract triggers that extended them into next year. Mid-season draftees Matt Coulthard and James Trezise and Tasmanian rookie Seth Campbell have also re-signed for another year. Dow’s impressive return to the senior side bodes well for his chances of staying a Tiger, while Bauer kicked two goals in the same round 22 game against St Kilda. Ralphsmith has played 26 matches across the past two seasons, and is tipped to receive another contract. Nyuon has toiled away in the VFL in 2023, but offers key-position and ruck depth, especially with Riewoldt and Tarrant departing.
