I assume that includes their senior side interchange players as well so at least 4 or 5 (including a carry-over emergency) to come out.

Eyre was recruited to Essendon as a forward but has shown form as a back. We have backs I’d like to see him play forward. They should continue with the experiment of AJ as the intercept defender. The best he’s looked this season was those couple of games down back. Might as well find out before they delist him, you just never know.

Good luck to big “Roo” can’t wait to here the crowd call “Roo” when he kicks the ball.
AJ never did much intercepting. He racked up touches off HB. But that’s not his role.

Nooo I want Reef back in the seniors forward line!!
Reckon his ceiling is higher as a mid, so I’d like to see him play at least 50% mid at vfl level this week

We recruited a mature ager named Mihocek as a no-frills, dependable backman.

They don’t play the same role. Could have used reef to bolster the forward line and WHE to go wherever he’s needed during the game. Even if both played forward would have been ok too. Not like we’re talking about two like for like players.

Who of McCreery, Hill, Schultz, or Harrison are you omitting to accommodate both?

Actually they are a little like-for-like when you consider that McInnes is tall but doesn't play tall, and WHE isn't tall but CAN play tall.
I know it doesn't mean much but McInnes named at CHB in the VFL team and Eyre named forward. Wonder if they are considering Eyre for a potential forward role (has played forward for Essendon I recall?).
We have played an under-height forward line all year, and Cox didn't do much in his last few games as a forward, so it would be no surprise to play Krieger as our only genuine tall forward.

When they play as key forwards, they're very similar types and WHE has been the better performed this year - by a big margin.

I didn’t see WHE being used exclusively as a forward. He’s a utility so could be used as needed. Even if that changes in game.
