Should have heard the morons behind me all night. Would mock North fans for calling for free kicks and then bemoan a missed free in literally the same sentence. Anyway they can GAGF and I hope they enjoyed seeing me punching the air Norm Smith style after the last goal.

We're all glad you got out okay.

Stupid coaching and team.

Brown often had 3-5players on him and for some reason they were still kicking to him. Would make sense to use him as a decoy at that point and lead him out to the flanks and have Wood and Ziebell have an easy uncontested mark.

Not sure of the exact terminology but anything around 200 points is considered high for pressure. The Bullfrogs peaked at 300+

And as the clock ticked down to 46 seconds in the last, with bullflog Wallis running into attack, what was the pressure level when his eyes spotted Majak Daw poised and ready to repel whatever came his way?

Enough to pull the kick as far from Majak as possible, forcing an error - OOBOTF?

That's 300+ right there.

I'd rather Brown take on 3-5 players than rely on Wood to do anything at the moment.

You think the players were directed to do that? I doubt very much that they were.
It's common sense! I was taught that when I played junior footy. You shouldn't have to be told that at AFL level.
Everyone needs to forget Brown and the Coleman medal every now and again and do the team thing.

Of course and it would be easily rectifiable. He still kicked 5 and our main problems seemed to stem from the midfield as we couldn't get our hands on the pill. Thankfully that too was fixed after the first quarter of watching the Dogs play keepings off.

Yeah Brown was outstanding, but I still reckon we could have kicked at least 4-5 more goals if we utilized our forward line correctly.

There's a lot of valid discussion around here about Maj's pros and cons. However, one thing that is undeniable, for such a big man, he executes bumps better than nearly anyone else in the league. How he didn't take that guys head off, while at the same time sending him into the middle of next week, is incredible. I'm guessing that the fact that he played soccer first helps him in that regard - he knows how to execute a perfect shoulder charge. Lol. Nekminit, Majak gets rubbed out for 4 weeks for ironing out a Bombers forward....

If its a certain man bunned **** he'll get a life membership.

The first 2 are correct decision. If the ball is knocked out in the tackle it’s play on.

Second we drag it in and don’t dispose of it, holding the ball.

The Tarrant one is the wrong call but a hard call to make. It’s an old forwards trick!

If you guys learnt the rules you’d save yourselves so much angst.

Except he dropped it himself trying to get it out to his teammate well after Billy Hartung (so its hardly gonna be knocked out) tackled him. Anyway that's what it looks like in the gif, its hard to say conclusively without seeing more real footage.

The second one - before he goes to ground Wallis has his hand in his back. I remember at the time thinking he was pushed onto the ball and I've seen that not paid and the umpire calling that out. Its not as obvious in the gif DP posted because its the last bit of the contact in the gif. The second or two before would tell you whether it was enough force to be a real push. But he does make the effort to drag it in once he is on the ground so probably fair enough.
