Agree, making the point all talent should be required players publicly. I am sure the club isn’t going to trade Clark. No, that's silly...
Mids are everywhere...big forwards with the ability of King are not

He owns 6 cotton on stores and three pubs in Geelong.
Yes!!!I just can’t do the constant harping on the past.
Yes, we’ve been sh*t, for ages.
Yes, we’ve drafted cr*ply over many years.
Yes, we’ve made many, many mistakes…
But what’s done is done. Can’t change history.
All we can do is pray that we’ve learnt from past mistakes and that the people we have in place make the right decisions now.
Otherwise we might as well just give it away.
With the strong possibility Tasmania will enter the competition in approximately 5 or so years , the draft will become weakened beyond belief , as soon as 4 years time , so strategically our club should be stockpiling young talent , and that includes keeping a guy like Clark. Most people would see us in the bottom few teams for young talent , and we don’t want to be bottoming out , when an expansion team is coming in , and it’s players of Clark’s age that should be hitting their straps by then , leading the young talent we stockpile in the meantime. There are no guarantees in football , but giving those who flash talent like Clark an opportunity , is always the right move. We have a few who show nothing , and a few older types , that would be better choices to trade or delist.
From all reports next years draft kids coming through are looking very talented. We trade out a few and put together a generous bundle of points. Brizzy are taking 2 high end FS this year.
We table our future 1st, receiving a shiny new FB, FRDP and a future 2nd.
Turn Hill into Bruhn, probably via North's future 2nd.
Saints will need to up their offer $100k after last 2 games performanceOn the 12th of never.
Has anyone publicly said Clark isn't required?Agree, making the point all talent should be required players publicly. I am sure the club isn’t going to trade Clark.
I would love to see us lock Owens and Windy into core rotational spots in the mids next year along with Clark. Crouch and Ross limited elsewhere so they'd stay in. Gresh take centre bounces and go forward. Use Steele pinch hitting and isolate him FF. At his best the bloke wins one on ones for fun
If we can snag a high end mid in the draft give him the Owens treatment from this year and throw him in the mix
And all of this with Marshall rucking. I reckon we've got the players we just need to get the mix right
Only a bunch of nuffies on SM and football forums.Has anyone publicly said Clark isn't required?
All indications are he will sign with Collingwood.Saints will need to up their offer $100k after last 2 games performance
Pies will be looking to sign him now
A bit like Collingwood, they now have an abundant of players that can go through the middle & it showing where it counts.I would love to see us lock Owens and Windy into core rotational spots in the mids next year along with Clark. Christ, i hope hunter doesn't need another 4 years before he hits his straps , he has already been at the club for 5 yearsWith the strong possibility Tasmania will enter the competition in approximately 5 or so years , the draft will become weakened beyond belief , as soon as 4 years time , so strategically our club should be stockpiling young talent , and that includes keeping a guy like Clark. You keep banging on about the club needing to stop the talk. The media floated it
The club should have crushed it
Even if they would take a top ten pick for him.
