The De Goey of late is very different to the De Goey we’ve seen most of the year. Really doubt he leaves but if he’s a chance I reckon we gotta throw the sink at him
I doubt he’d want to leave the Pies and neither would they want him to go.

Clever boy that he is 🙄 he played right into their hands with his little “misbehaviour episode” in Bali, enabling them to withdraw their offer. Now they offer him a reduced contract, but still decent enough to say “Come on home, Jordy, all is forgiven.” ( with a little behavioural clause thrown in for good measure.)

Hunter Clark going no where 🔒
Yeah mate its hilarious. Couple of twitter posts and world is ending.

Not one one word suggesting why he might move - just some brain farts from media people needing to fill media minutes.

Great job - make up s**** and get paid for it!!!!

I'm so frustrated at the moment with our club. If this long/ clark talk is legitimate, it just seems so unhinged, like we're just desperate and not thinking clearly. We know how this will end, and thats badly. I can somewhat understand the long talk (I dont agree with it, but can understand the thinking at least). But as others have said, buying high and selling clark cheap when he clearly has such massive upside seemed absolutely ridiculous. Everyone has a price, sure, but youre not going to get anything decent pickswise for clark. Any idiot can see that. What the hell is going on down there. Seems like random, impulsive desperation.

Liam Henry potentially looking at his options according to John Ralph.
Is he worth a look? I feel he'll cost too much with a year to go.

Too soon to panic. Just trade silly season for the media.
Can only spend so much time talking finals.

I cannot understand why the club would trade him for a top 10 pick…? He has a lot of potential and will be a good player why take the risk..?

If the club is shopping him for a top 10 pick, Hunter has every right to be thinking ‘they dont want me’ . It is no way to build a loyal, anything for the jumper culture. The narrative should be, he is a required player, regardless of what is on offer. Off the table.

That’s how you create a team first culture. It’s amateurish.

Unless there is something we don’t know that the club doesn’t like.
If it purely to get a high pick, then the club should be firm, back Hunter and say, he is a saint for life.

F-uck the top ten pick off
The club isn’t shopping him. The club isn’t shopping Hill.

Clark is gettable for the right offer.

The flipside is that Clark doesn’t want to leave. But will happily move for the right club.

You’ll be surprised at how common this is. However, this time It’s been reported by AFL media.

Hill is required. Clarkson wants him and he would like to play under Clarkson again.

I’m really not sure why people think the club has just put a for sale sign, nor am I understanding why people are so upset and we are weeks away from the trade period.

It wouldn’t even surprise me to hear Ratten/Lethlean come out and say we want to keep Clark to drive home it’s going to cost the top end of his value.

Which is ultimately what it will come down too. I’ve already said I think he is better and shown more then Cerra. He went for pick 6 + a third rounder.

Draftees are like shiny new toys.

I agree with McKenzie. Looks a solid prospect but if I'm trading out a highly rated contracted player I'd be wanting a pick that gets in the ball park for a Cadlow.

I'd be willing to bet McKenzie makes it to our pick anyway
Watched him (McKenzie) today and was very clean. Beautiful passes from deep mid to the tit on the forwards. Show his wheels when needs too. Smart footballer, used it well.

Sheezle was clean, great through traffic, midfield beast, snagged 5 goals.

If he left. We would be paying some of the salary anyway

The return not what we are contributing is the KEY to this entire trade.

Regardless of opinions. As an outside wingman. Hill can cut sides up and be used very effectively
Good thinking
Ratts and Long to North for…? Maybe we call it square for doing us a favour.
