There isn’t a shortage of examples the last 10 years where we have a big win like last week only to be brought back down to reality against a quality side not long after.
Collingwood look every bit a premiership contender and have the belief that they can win from out of nowhere, a bit like last week.
Massive test for us.

Billy is a good inclusion for us. The race to see who can give away more 50 metre penalties between him & Charlie will be worth the admission price alone.

I predict Frampton's fourth club will be Glenelg/South Adelaide, just feels right.

Probably not. JimmyBC listed a few strengths. But I'll add not expensive, experienced, good club man as far as training well and avoiding off-field trouble. Perhaps some luck getting a further contract, but IMO not ludicrous.

21 century version of the Collingwood 6 footer.
If we revert to old port hack kicks into 50 Frampton will look like a monster out there and we will regret mocking his inclusion.
Standing under high balls suits him to a tee.
If we deliver to our forwards like round 1, Frampton might as well be a traffic cone. He’s absolutely useless against that.

Feel like this game is going to tell us a lot about our group.

Obviously the truth is somewhere in there between the 2, the question is just where.
The pessimist says:
- We have played 1 really great quarter all year, where our mid to fwd connection was outstanding, the first half we gave ourselves crappy chances and struggled to penetrate and threaten with possession.
- The last qtr V Brisbane meant zero
- We copped a Brisbane that were miles off the boil for some reason and was not a true reflection of what we should expect going forward
- Despite being extremely dominant in general play in the 1st half V Brisbane, for chunks of the Freo game and the majority of the WC game, we still couldn't score, whilst conceding goals to our opposition easily.
- Our ability to handle pressure remains a question mark.
- The result against Brisbane was a clear outlier against several years of trends
The optimist says:
- We just smacked a top 2 contender, they came at us, got ahead and then we ramped up to a whole new level tearing them apart and playing with an attacking gameplan not seen since 2014.
- The gameplan tweaks certainly appear to have opened up our attacking side and have re-opened our ability to transition and score quickly again. The first half was only low scoring because we were missing our chances and giving away silly 100's.
- We are dominating general play in all games, it was just a matter of time until we put that on the scoreboard.
- Not only do we have serious quality on the inside, but nearly all our outside players, hff's, hbf's and wingers are all outstanding and seriously played at AA level Vs Brisbane (Rioli, SPP, Burton, Houston, Bergman and Duursma)
- we have top liners to come back which will only make us stronger, and our fringe players will become first rounders like Jones and Sinn over the next few weeks.
Obviously the truth is somewhere in there between the 2, the question is just where.
