Yeh hoping Burton's recent form has been due to carrying something and he gets a rest. He has been soft lately so hopefully a rest helps

Dropping Burton when McKenzie is out, is just wrong. Upsets the back 6 too much.
Narkle hasn't put a foot wrong and Lycett could have done with a longer rest.
I'm not Hayes' biggest fan but we clearly need that second option available.

Based on the changes I'd say Burgoyne is nominally replacing Burton. But if we wanted Burgoyne in (which I'm not opposed to) it would have made more sense to just leave Jonas out and Burton in.

Happy Duursma is in, but Burton better than Jonas, unless Jonas is going to physically take out half of the Carlton side on Saturday.

Jonas is in for the boot. Burton gets the other boot, I reckon for Jones and not Jonas.
With all that ability Burton does not do enough (and nevers plays on a key position player, so don't blame Jonas).

We've gone for a faster side on the docklands deck. I'm happy with the change up to hopefully fix some of our clunkiness of late.

6 Changes, premierships are never won with a best 22 or 23 these days; second stringers you’re up - burgoyne lord mead jonas then on the emergency list sinn evans hayes. We need to expect a similar result because if we’re in this situation and its a week from the prelim they need to be able to perform not just “oh he showed good signs”

Burton should of stayed in especially with McKenzie out - we have on kpd aliir over 189cms. Yes ONE against McKay and Curnow and Silvagni. We’re going to get annihalted in the air besides Jonas double fisting and Jones mad man spoiling. Bergman will probably be used down there too

Burton has never been trusted on play on the talls, he always minds the little fellas who have been chopping him up.
Let him play SANFL and build his confidence back up.

Jones has become our third tall defender, where thay rushed him back after missing four games.
