This ruthlessness wouldn't have happened in years past. Carr's fingerprints all over it
Let’s wait and see what the result of the match is before we decide who’s decision it was.

A bit like last time we played over there, Lycett may not be an in, where instead of Dante; we now have Hayes waiting on the grid line.Great to see some good old fashioned melting in here on a Thursday again.
Disappointed for Hayes, reckon he should have got another go, another week of rest for Lycett wouldn't be a bad thing.
Burton is a bit surprising but as a few have noted his intensity has varied a bit.
Perhaps would have played Narkle instead of Mead just because I think he's a bit quicker and a bit more X-factor.
All in all though we've all complained in the past about lack of changes and playing injured players, 6 changes indicates to me that once again the coaching has changed.
Burgoyne was brilliant last week and he deserves a spot. Burton has more talent, is taller and is more athletic than Jonas so unless Burton is going to be rested as the unused travelling emergency it makes no sense to me.Jonas for McKenzie I can live with that
BUT
Burton for Burgoyne is BULLSHIT!
Hope Burton's our Sub!
- nothing against young Burgoyne but your replacing a 191cm 92kg with a 186cm 70kg defender WTF!
- Our backline's done
Carlton have shortened a lot in the betting they will end up favourites for this game.I've tipped Carlton.
McEntee might be on notice?
Good thinking if we win it’s Carr, lose and Daddy Donuts strikes againLet’s wait and see what the result of the match is before we decide who’s decision it was.
JHF sore back
So have I.I've tipped Carlton.
Good old Thursday vibes. Has been missing for so longGreat to see some good old fashioned melting in here on a Thursday again.

Theres nothing quite like that old melt day feeling. Deja vu all over again.Good old Thursday vibes. Has been missing for so long
I noticed this as wellI wouldn’t be surprised if Burton is also carrying an injury and doesn’t play SANFL either. He’s looked proppy and unwilling to put his body on the line which is very unlike him
Who is the replacement for the Rioli spot here? Burgoyne?
I'm thinking it's essentially Duursma in for Wing Bergman, but then Defence Bergman in for Burton. Mead for JHF with a bit of time in the guts. Lycett/Lord/Jonas for Hayes/Dixon/McKenzie are clear. Which leaves a not-exactly-like-for-like with a small forward out for a running defender.
Perhaps doing our part to help Curnow get the Coleman.Wouldn't surprise me if they move Boak to half forward and then play Bergman and Duursma as the primary wingers with Lachie Jones getting the job on Curnow (if they give Jonas that job this game might be over at half time).
Still don't get the Jonas selection. Too slow and small for McKay and Curnow. Probably suited best to Silvagni but Ken's hubris in selecting him likely will see him go to Curnow with Aliir playing as the deepest KPD on McKay.
MyPerhaps doing our part to help Curnow get the Coleman.
Understand Ollie Lord came in for Dixon but his form in the SANFL has been terrible since he went back (missed last week suspended as well)
