"... when Fly came in he was so positive..."

Meanwhile Daddy Donuts;
It's a tough competition we're in and someone has to lose.
Playing finals is scary.

Compare the pear, one is coaching in a Grand Final on Saturday and the other is watching the dishlickers.
It’s the fact, that is what they would both PREFER to be doing that’s the problem

To be fair, two years in we all thought Donuts was jesus too
Yeah, he was initially quite positive but the signs of his negative mindset were still there. Remember him going all negative in the second half against Geelong in the 2013 semi. Told the players they had to go defensive despite having a four goal lead, 7 to 3. We were behind by 3/4 time.

He has been mostly negative for most of his eleven seasons at Ports which leads me to believe that that is his true personality.

Coaching in an AFL Grand Final would be very scary but watching the dishlickers would be relaxing and better for work life balance. Easy to see which one Daddy Donuts prefers.

This Geelong team is pretty scary! We can't keep going, better start sandbagging it boys and we might be able to hang on.

What a loser.

Premierships after this weekend:

Billy Frampton - 1, 40 games
Ken Hinkley - 0, 378 games

Maybe Kenny's a real good communicator to those like big Charlie and Rioli, who (with respect), aren't amongst the sport's greatest thinkers. He can really connect on their level
Also probably why Brodie Grundy saw right through him.

Hinkley has never been able to get anything out of solid role players like Frampton. He is unable to fill them with the confidence they need and provide them with a system that utilises them in the most effective way. All he can do is sit there like a loser and hope his stars get it done or he's got nothing.

Billy frampton will have played in more grand finals than Robbie gray

"I guarantee if we'd played Frampton the result would have been a lot worse"

How to succeed in Hinkley's system

1. Be naturally gifted to an elite level
2. Consider investing in a Greyhound
3. Like, someone who doesn't really need to be coached. You just know how to play footy good

“Port Adelaide aren’t a systems-based team”

Our whole game plan is literally relying on playing hardery for longery, hoping to score goals via either:

(a) having the kids we draft come in with existing elite skills - because god knows we don’t waste training drills on ball skills; or

(b) having someone like SPP pull a rabbit out of the hat by fending off 3 oppo players and checksiding against the boundary - on this point, I love SPP but I’d rather see our goals come from your traditional mark inside 50 on a lead

Nah look Kenny just never had the cattle. He's the victim here. How could a team with Billy Frampton as depth possibly make a Grand Final? Would never happen. I think you'll find that every Grand Final team comes from a list of wall to wall stars.

To put it simply, Hinkley only likes players that are capable of saving his job like our current midfield, R Gray, Wingard.

We only make finals because we have actual talent not because of Ken's coaching ability.

Hinkley is a straight up loser that hangs his hat on talented footballers, as soon as the drop away or disagree with the donut king they are told to explore their options or are quickly traded away.
