Assuming the odd media/footy involved person reads BF ; why would you clowns denigrate TB and highlight his shortcomings?
If he’s definitely going we should all be pumping his tyres up. Why cast doubt into prospective buyers?
Fools!!!
This is true, we're supposed to denigrate him AFTER the trade has gone through!

Champion's slightly taller than Kysaiah Pickett(by 1cm) and probably still growing.

Pickett goes alright.
Pickett just like Watson this year we’re both very highly rated 1st round picks. Elite speed, agility and a hardness for the contest not often seen in kids that small.

Champion is rated by most as a third round pick. Has good speed, good agility and goes alright in the contest.

I never said he won’t make it, I simply said he’s no guarantee and his placement in this years draft rankings prove my point.

They'd have to use their picks to match, which in theory (and depending on the points in their draft hand) means the picks they use disappear and it brings everyone forward in the draft.

I.e. we bid with 3 that's worth 2,234 points, so Gold Coast would need 2,011 points to match our bid (Acadamy gets a 10% discount I think, although rules are changing). If they held pick 11 (1,329 points) and pick 28 (677 points), they'd be a touch short so would need to use some of the points from their third-round draft pick also, which would slide back. GC would then get Lombard, our pick 3 becomes pick 4 (i.e. the next pick) but picks 11 and 28 disappear from the draft and everyone shuffles up.

NOTE: these are random draft picks to show the methodology, not what is actually going to happen.
I thought GC had picks 7, 12, 20 & 27.

I also thought they would have to use pick 7, then 12 etc to make up the points ?

So I've had a whisper today that Jagar doesn't think tigers are going to take him and that they have a couple of players in preference. Didnt say what 2. Did say north will likely pass and eagles have spoken to him. Also, is close to Harley.

Jagga looks like a decent-ish player but I'm worried about his ultra skinny frame, I'm not sure how that would translate to AFL level.

If we get a pick in the 20's back as part of the Barrass trade i like what the write up on Alex Dodson.

Pick 3 - Draper
Pick ~12 (Hawks Round 1) - Another Mid
Pick 21 (our second) - Hotton if he's dropped / or whoever
PIck ~25 (Pies Second from Hawks) - Alex Dodson

Trade Bailey for whatever we can get, play Flynn and whoever of the young guys is most ready and develop Dodson.

After this performance on the weekend he finally got a call up to play for the senior WAFL West Perth team and it only took Kayle dominating the comp for weeks on end. In this game he was again best on ground, getting shaded in the hit outs but consistently causing damage post stoppage with his power and skills on the spread. The big thing we've been seeing more often in recent weeks is his contested marking with him regularly pulling down a couple of impressive plucks each week now.

We await this weekends game now with baited breath. A strong debut WAFL performance as a key forward and Kayle might fly up draft boards. There are several teams with top 10 picks that are hungry for a key forward and there isn't much Kayle can't do.

I'm all for drafting any kid who can get a "right foot tap".

If we only have one pick around the 8-13 mark, who you taking, TT or BAllen?

Geez, that's a bloody tough choice.
If both were there at our pick, I'd genuinely be happy with either.
If I were choosing it would probably depend on who we took at 3, if it was Draper for example I'd take TT no hesitation.
If we took FOS, who I'm predicting to be slightly more outside at AFL level (half back or forward) I'd probably lean to Bo Allen.
I know TT has many fans on here and have locked him in with that pick. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan but also really like Bo.

Am I missing something with Houston?

Fantastic kick of the footy and an AA selection, buy in what world is he worth more than a mid first rounder at best?
Uh oh...
