Rumour from the Blues board that Crows have offered a late pick for Matthew Kennedy (Pick 42)
Kennedy was subbed out in the elimination final, and the relationship with the club is considered over. Has been told by the Blues they're happy for him to explore his options, can walk for nothing next year.

Someone help me cope here: what reason would Cumming have to not nominate a club at this point unless that club were still in finals.
The question is will GC lose anyone to free agency. If they do then they would prefer to trade for Himo so they don’t lose the compo. We obviously are in the same boat if we get Cumming, so in those circumstances Himo could become part of a trade for Luko.
Interesting times ahead for us this year.

We did bid on Perryman IIRC, and you're being unkind classing him solely as a back pocket, he's a genuine utility, played half back, forward and midfield as a junior, great composure under pressure and a genuine dual sided player. I doubt very much Perryman will be utilised as a back pocket wherever he lands.

Why would he need to tell the Giants, it has no bearing on them given they arent trading.
The compo we would get for EH means it's not worth worrying about.. Suns don't even have anyone that is likely to net them a pick they would use

He's played AFL for 8 years, GWS have tried him all over the park and settled on him as a back pocket as his best position. I don't think where he played as a junior is relevant any more, like it isn't for Chayce Jones
