two genuine midfielders 22-29 yr old big strong mature bodied midfielders, state league players or moloney types to play a role and keep duds like white and jackson out of the team
Those talking about age being relevant to our trading through FA, have not read the tea leaves.
The window is open, anyone that can help on the field in certain positions, has a realistic wage expectation within our TPP, and wont cost a draft pick should/will be targetted and aquired.
big no for me is gartlett
very outside,
may play like lewis jetta but he hasnt got his character, jetta is a solid citizen gartlett could be out of the system lovett style in 5 years
with the likelihood that we will have a chose of 2-3 genuine inside midfielders at 9, why risk it?
I like to take my kids and nieces to the football so taking them to a collingwood game and the resultant bad language bad manners and generally undesirable behaviour is not something that I look forward to dealing with twice a year.

compare our boys bodies to that of Geelong or west coast and tell me how they differ,
He has been there for 12 years, and year after year we look in relative terms skinny.
Nahas put on 6 kilos in about a month after hardwick cracked it over our boys being pushed off the ball after the west...
Great bloke is Matt,
He did a pretty good job.
Problem is, pretty good is not good enough anymore,
we need to be cutting edge market leaders in sports science, and that he aint.
looking forward to see who they come up with.
this really is a critical appointment.
interesting that the afl have determined that any compo picks ( net ) recieved for losing a free agent cannot be banked for future drafts, they must be used in the current draft.
This means that compensation for losing a free agent for a bottom ranked club, is much much better than losing a...
I think its great that the 2 year apprentiship of James Hird has been served at a cost of about $8 million. Knights would have done the job, better, and his team, would have cost about one third of the golden boys.
I also thinks its great for the afl, that he is clearly now ready to do it...
why is cotchin on the bench in most teams?
or worst still ommitted from others?
He is basically leading every award available, coaches the age the sun ect
he is the starting centreman in aa team
you guys are kidding yourselves if you think that anonymous bigfooty posters have the capacity to motivate the players.
The players dont give a flying continental what anyone thinks of them except the coaches and their peers ( their teammates )
