Born and raised in Perth til I was 10 (and was a Eagles fan), then moved to SA in 97, then changed to Port. Now proudly live in the great suburb of Alberton :D
I can only comment on AFL and SANFL ground, so I'm going with Glenelg's Gliderol Stadium or whatever it's called. Bit of rain, and half the oval turns to mud
So, Geelong for VFL wooden spoon then. Matthew Knights is a pathetic coach. How he ever got an AFL gig is beyond a joke. Can't even coach at state league level. Port Adelaide Magpies supporters can vouch for that!
More time to develop. Then we have 3 genuine ruckman and depth. Always need depth in the ruck. Especially if one goes down. Case in point Primus in 04, but we had Lade and Brogan to cover. And this year, Brogan went down, but Lobbe was on his own.
In a so called weak draft, plus Ivan Maric went for pick 37 so the currency was right, so pick 33 was a good deal.
And Renouf and Lobbe can definitely play together. Both can "rest" up forward when not in the ruck.
I'm very excited to have Renouf at Port Adelaide. Seen enough of him since his debut in 08 to know we have ourselves a very good player!
Can't wait for Renouf and Brad Ebert to be officially introduced as Port Adelaide players :D
This is a very good trade for Port. I can't believe we were even considering Mark Seaby, yet alone nearly doing the trade for him.
Well done Peter Rohde. Finally got something right!
West Coast are not getting f'ing Pick 6 for Ebert. So their next best option from us is Pick 28. And yet they want more, but don't want any players we have to offer.
For f*** sake West Coast, get off your high horse.
Strong connections? His cousin Brett has played 150 games for Port, his uncle Russell is possibly the greatest player ever for Port Adelaide, who played 392 games for the club, and his dad played for Port Adelaide.
So his family doesn't just have strong connections to Port Adelaide, his family...
I can understand that, but the Port Adelaide Football Club from the SANFL entered the AFL, hence why we have x amount of SANFL/AFL premiership. There wasn't a brand new Port Adelaide Football Club established. It's the same club that has been around since 1870
No one is trying to say that Victorian clubs achievements prior to 1990 don't mean anything, coz they do.
But here's a case in point, all the Victorian clubs continue to count their state comp premierships in their premiership total, yet us at Port Adelaide, you shoot us down when we count our...
