In his interview, said he wants to work on his skills. Not sure if others agree, but I have the impression that he is a very good user of the ball by foot?
Will go down in the annals of blue and gold history for playing his part in bringing the cup home,
Critically, restricting Steele Sidebottom's influence to 14 disposals in the Grand Final.
Bravo!
Alas, he chose riches, over loyalty.
Not admirable, but then again, I have no ill feeling towards him.
He has done what many have done before him, and made a sterling contribution to the blue and gold.
As such, would disapprove of any motions to boo him.
The near 30 per cent increase in revenue over the year is staggering.
What is also impressive is the near $40m in cash, quite impressive considering the club is in the midst of constructing a new training facility.
My sense is that if we want to go back-to-back, having a strong and stable group is critical. So I think we need to make changes where absolutely necessary or warranted.
For instance, I think there were only three new players in the 2014 Hawks premiership team, compared to the 2013 Hawks...
Posters who argue "well that's the way its always been", you are lazy and clearly unconcerned about your team receiving an advantage from the league.
You know the league fails every season to make very achievable adjustments to the competition [many of which have been outlined in this thread]...
Generally, I think set shots on goal after the siren to win the game are quintessentially more "clutch".
However, given the context, the game up until that point, the time left, the preceding passage of play, the angle and the drop punt, and premiership on the line, it has to be arguably one...
Yeah because it's all about money and not about fairness? I suppose then if Clive Palmer offered the AFL a billion dollars for the Tigers to play all their games in in some bogan town in Queensland you wouldn't have a problem with it.
"National competition" is a misnomer. There is no other national sporting code on planet earth that does this. Even worse are those that believe that it doesn't place any teams in a disadvantage...
Does anybody have the complete list of votes for each player for the 2017 John Worsfold medal?
I understand that this is included in the annual magazine, but I don't have a copy.
B: Hurn, Barrass, Sheppard

C: Gaff, Duggan, Jetta
HF: Cripps, Darling, Venables,
F: Ryan, Waterman, Lecras,
R: Lycett, Shuey, Yeo,

The debutants are highlighted in green and having four could be too much (the match committee...
Being the only team that has not lost to an expansion club is a humble but freakin' awesome achievement.
Stop being party poopers and let us drink from the cup of immortality!!!
Mr Ahmadinejad is soooo last presidential term buddy. If you like to label people by the name of their elected leaders, then you can call me Mr Rouhani. Though, technically that is also incorrect because I live in Australia and I have never visited the glorious mother land.
Asking Fremantle to kick more than 100 points, is like asking a cat to take a swim in the ocean, it is completely against its inherent nature.
Ross Lyon is essentially that dude throwing the screaming feline into the tide and thinking that he somehow convinced the little wet hairball.
When I was doing this exercise I liked how we have two new players that are certainly in the best 22 (Jetta and Redden),
and we lost two players that were borderline best 22 (Rosa and Selwood).
The odd one out was Sinclair, who was best 22 but would eventually make way for Lycett.
Cheers FXD_ for going down and taking some quality pics so us fanboys can rejoice.
I have to say, the guernsey looks even more glorious when it is worn.
Can't wait to see the boys play their first game in it.
We were getting a vehicle freighted over from the east coast and that has been delayed, even though it was not on the derailed train.
So pretty much anything on rail from East to West has been delayed.
Trivia: Adidas and Puma were founded by two German brothers, who were previously partners in a sports shoe company, until a feud divided them and resulted in the two large companies we see today.
