    Swans' Player Contract Lengths

I am not familiar with Deadly's style of writing and did not know he was being sarcastic. For my error of judgement I offer sincere apologies to Deadly and no I am not sarcastic. One on my many weaknesses has been to take people at face value.

    Swans' Player Contract Lengths

What a disrespectful post, especially when Goodes is contracted to the end of 2012. I am appalled at your coments directed at a dual Brownlow medalist, a premiership player, a captain of the club, a hard worker for indiginious people. Sorry mate but very shameful.

I certainly hope so, including our own doubting supporters.

Didn't David Spriggs go to Canberra and spent a lot of time there?

Looking forward in seeing him in 2009. Hope he gets through this year unscathed and has a great pre-season.:thumbsu:

    Roos asks: where's the marketing?

The crowd was posted on the tv 19 odd thousand, but when the cameras panned around the stadium there looked to be more people. Can the regulars who go to ANZ stadium give their opinion of the crowd size. In any case it doesn't bode well for a Western Sydney team. Sheer folly I reckon, better...

no swans guard of honor for grant?

It would have been, but this is finals football. It's up to his club to honour him on his magnificent career. I'm sure the Swans players would have congratulated him.

LRT = ARRRRRRGHHH!!!! (and if any tool out there even thinks of defending him...)

I thought Leo very very, very ordinary against Bradshaw. A great servant but the end is near. Time and interpretation of the rules have negated his effectiveness. I will always remember his grab in 05. An all time highlight.

Positives of the game against the Bulldogs

Even though we have a lot of injuries and didn't play that badly and also the fact that there were encouaging signs with some of the debutants performing really well, I can understand Tuco's and Rancid's disappointment and frustration, especially after such a bright start followed by a shocking...

    Hall's form?!?

You are 100% right with your first comment, but a lot of the delivery to him was very, very ordinary. Also Bassett pealed off and double teamed Barry. In the overall scheme of things we are a better side with a fully fit cherry rife Barry Hall firing on all cylinders. I have to acknowledge...

    Collingwood Loss

Think positively. We can beat the Pies even though they were our boggy team last year. Provided we beat Melbourne next week we will still be a minimum be 6 points clear of Collingwood (possibly 10 if the Dogs beat them).:thumbsu:

    Goodes' hit

I couldn't believe some of the malicious, ignorant, vindictive, hysterical comments posted there. They make Hannibal Lecter look like an angelic choir boy. I wonder if they actually eat their own?

We need to bury the Saints

I hope that history does not repeat itself with a terrible wet track when we played the Saints at the SCG on a Saturday night (either last year or the year before) and we lost. Personally I hope it's going to be a dry track, but the weather forecast is not looking promising.:(

    Malceski and Hall

Great news on Malceski. Let's hope that the operation will be a total success. With regards Barry's injury and possible return in round 12, this will be fantastic for the second half of the season. I don't know if this has been mentioned but has any consideration, if any needed, has been given...

    Malceski early return

As I have stated I am not disputing that Matthew Liptak has spent a year investigating knee reconstructions, and that he is soon to publish a research paper analysing 131 knee reconstructions undergone by AFL footballers from 1990 to 2000. What I am asking is has he analysed knee reconstructions...

    Malceski early return

As it stands Nick Malceski has had the operation. In about 10 weeks time hopefully, we will all know if it has been a success or a failure. Let's hope for his sake that it will be successful, with no complications, and he returns to a fruitful sensational football career.

    Malceski early return

You state that he has "spent a year travelling the world speaking to experts on knee reconstructions". I don't know if he has or hasn't so I will not dispute this point. In your earlier post you stated that he has spent a year investigating knee reconstructions and is soon to publish a research...
