I would like a big bodied mid too MM?!

One that has kicked 60+ goals in two years, average 20+ ppg, won the larke medal and got as 14-12 on the beep combined with 2.96 over 20. And is 6'1 and can do a trick dunk!

Sorry, but still can't believe we may even consider passing on CP
Just a question Big Mart, how many times have you seen Petracca play live? How many times have you seen McCartin play?

The discussion was about a dozen pages back, but just on the video, from listening my first thought was that the player they were speaking about was Kyle Langford, everything they said about him checks out for mine and he's played school footy for Ivanhoe. It was the first player the bobbed into my head with that description. Tackle number doesn't match-up (does for Laverde, as do most of the points, but he's a very, very low chance to be available at 21).

Attack first - Yes
Athlete - Yes
GPS numbers expected to be high - Yes
TAC Cup team of the year - Yes
Plays half-back - Yes
Can play a range of positions - Yes
Kicking/decision-making ? early on - Yes.

I think there's a genuine chance that he's available at 21.

The tackle numbers also matched up with Ahern, he could be a potential slider (higher chance to be available at 21 in my opinion, though probably not). I agree though, I was thinking Langford but tackle numbers threw me off. If we get him at 21 I'll be stoked.

Now Emma thinks there is a massive chance of Weller at pick 21 or 22.

If this happens i'll be enjoying time alone tomorrow night after the draft.
Hahaha if we get goddard or weller I can't explain what I'll do. That would be awesome but unlikely

I've pretty much ruled out Lachie Weller, he's to skillful and well rounded to sneak to 21/22. He looks like he has a lot of physical development left in him as well, so much upside once he gets to an AFL club. I care about 38.9 times more about if we get Weller at 21/22 then splitting hairs between Petracca and McCartin.

Updated one on the HS has us going

Patrick McCartin
Tom Lamb
Alex Spud-Bullen

Kyle Langford at Pick 23..

I've seen Christian (three times) and Paddy (twice) both play...
CP was dominant in one, dangerous in the other two
PM was very strong in one, underwhelming in the other
Physically, they both looked massive compared to opponents...

A boy I know recently trained with Christian and had only good things to say about him... Said he was fast from arrogant, quite jovial and massive.

Time to continue dreaming.

I think his Champs he got 1 tackle a game, but as someone who got full back all australian U18 Champs (or CHB, you say Half Back... I can't remember, may've been full back in the TAC CUP team of the year haha) the comment of "more attacking at this stage" doesn't match up to me. Didn't strike me that they were discussing EVW.

Thanks for the response BM, appreciate it. It's good to read that you have watched them play, but I would say the recruiters have watched Paddy play about 40 times more than you personally have, and have seen Petracca play at least 15x as many times as you have seen him play.

How would you rate the FB's that played on him this last season and champs?
