The exact way i took it when Winmar first posted about it last year.I wasn't there but I'd interpret it the way you have winmar. Some have said he meant 3/4 a year

This is correct, we want 12-15 top 20 picks on our list from 2013 draft onwards by the time our window opens.I wasn't there but I'd interpret it the way you have winmar. Some have said he meant 3/4 a year
"increasing our draft activity by 50% in the first 3 rounds of the AFL National Draft over the next four years."

I think it's also fair to say that we can add Eli Templeton to the mix, rated as a top 25-30 talent by many including us this year, great that we snaffled one when we didn't expect too.
Pretty much just his size, if I recall correctly. That, and him bein
g from Tassie. Some recruiters fear that Tasmanian players are playing in an inferior comp: kinda middle fish in a very small pond, which makes them look better than they are. I disagree with them, but yeah.
Whoa, doesn't that make him untouchable by default? He was quite small at the combine, weighed in at 76kgs if I recall correctly, however I believe he wasn't drafted due to some off-field issue.
Armo is a nice player but you could probably get a midfielder as good as him with a pick in the 40's or even the VFL. He's not an elite level player that gets you those early picks.
Hawthorn are obviously very good but they're also very old. Going there would be risky because they could fall off a cliff at any moment.Working through the likelihood of that though... I think Pelchen said no free agents in, until 2016 onwards.
Hawthorn are going to be loaded with $ and cap room by season-end, short of a capitulation this year I don't see why he wouldn't go there.
Now watch Sydney sign him on a 17 yr deal unwritten by the league...
Well I wouldn't have thought any one of us were in any position to be judging anyone, as none of us are perfect ourselves, but I'd also prefer everyone to just call it as they see it and tell us what they believe to be true (as this is a forum for honest discussion) rather than trying to sugar-coat things, or hold anything they know back, just because some struggle to handle it when anyone says anything about anyone else that is less than complimentary, even if it's .

Serious suggestion but what about Cam Delaney?
Is a very nice hbf in the mould of Roberton (CD is listed at 194cms and 91kgs) who will only be 22 at the end of the year.
If we are looking at trading out the likes of Gilbert and Gwilt to improve our draft position, there is every chance we could get Delaney Jnr on the cheap as he is a long way behind the likes of Hansen, Firrito, Dal, McDonald, Wright, Atley, MacMillan and Mullet in North's back flank rotation due to his awkward size.
They want him to play key post but he is much better used as the Sam Fisher type 3rd tall. He would get that chance with us if we are looking at trading our older 3rd tall/half backs out.
Thoughts?
Ahhh can you imagine us stealing Jaksch off GWS. Considering he went at the pick we gave them for Tommy Lee. Would be fantastic.
