All i know outside of what I have already posted is that we have put in an offer to tom early in the year but were knocked back. As were other clubs, so its not like we were the only ones. All the noise was that he was going to re sign. One thing is plan as day IMO is that we will be drawn into the trade with the hawks for JOM.

So now im thinking the prestia trade wont be as quick as first thought.

Interesting time a head imo. We will be active, aggressive even. Posted that months ago. Just wont hear anything solid till GF week imo.

Exactly .. people need to get the 25-27 year-old Lids out of their heads. He's 29 - will be 30 soon after the 2017 season kicks off - slowing down and payed all of 14 games this season after 18 last season. He's not the player he once was, no the one who never missed a game.

Lids is worth quite a bit of currency to a team contending for a flag, if he can stay fit.

However I think a player like Motlop who has only known a professional culture, has all being well 7/8? years left and who has been consistently good it worth more to a team like us.

In other words it seems like a win win situation.

More complex trade situation, but possibly one where have more leverage. If we can link TV into the Prestia trade then we might get extra value out of it. Then with lids conca etcI - Possibilities to create opportunities

. It most assuredly will go the distance so we seem to be playing hard ball but we will get bent over once again. We have no other angle but to cough up what we don't want to cough up and seeing as we always get our man the rest of the Comp knows us all to well. The only thing that can save us from losing pick 6 is Balme saying **** off. Outside that we will spread our cheeks just like we do each trade period
