Good effort! Probably won't happen and I haven't looked closely at each trade, but I'd do something like that.

I will give you Motlop having question marks but anyone that doesn't rate Rocky hasn't followed his career. He's top 50 in the AFL and has been for a few years, if that doesn't make you a gun not much will. If he was at Collingwood he'd be a superstar of the comp. Rocky has spent more time drifting forward lately when the Lions have been trying to get midfield minutes into kids, he can play well there and that means they can rotate Grey and the Chad through the forward line and midfield. Motlop is another pact runner with goal sense. I can see them being very hard to beat next year. They weren't far off playing deeper into the finals this year and plenty of their kids are getting into prime age.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, though I totally see where you are coming from. Just on Rocky, I'm no trying to say he isn't good, and agree re: Top 50, just that super star is probably a word that gets thrown around a bit, and he's probably on the lower end of top 50. Think people, and not saying you directly, just generally, are getting a bit carried away with the success of the Prestia and Nankervis trades. Trading in B+ players doesn't tend to be the difference between an Average finish and a top 4 finish, most of the cause for a rise up the ladder comes from development within the core group, and I don't rate Port's core high enough

Honestly I'd play Holmes over Pierce every day of the week. Least Holmes can win ruck contests.

That’s the point why trade for pick 3 when it really gains not much very very even ,a lottery more than last 10years in the draft.

I just hope we move on Holmesy, great story but if Tom stays he goes.

Would move Pierce & Wright on to rookie list paying their existing contracts the same as they did with Luke Saunders if we got injuries they can be upgraded, we need to spend the money anyway.

Pick up delisted players that fit need Eg Talia .
