Also conveniently didn't have two nights the one year where we would have benefited....

TBH that particular year I don’t think the first pick of the 2nd round was that valuable. The first round had already blown out to 26 players with all the NGAs, FS etc.

True this, but still early and imagine if we had 2.
Maybe I'm greedy and want something like Bartel, Chapman, Ablett
Ablett and Bartel were the stars Chappy was a great player too.
But...
Often overlooked was the quiet achiever who glued their premiership midfield together for years.
Joel Corey.

Didn't Ch7 run with the news last year that Port Power was the "front runner" for Dawson???

I thought someone posted that Carlton wasn’t interested in sholl?

Sholl to north ? For picks 55 and 64? (Points for michealanny). We give sholl and pick in the 70s?
Future third for Sholl if it's North thanks. Though, I can't see why North would be interested in Sholl with their midfield talent. They would be more into mature players like McAdam, Brown, Doedee from us.

Greenwood has been a fail there, maybe they want to take Crouch off our hands.

OK, back to the draft discussion.

If I was a betting man I'd say Crouch to Geelong. They'd want a replacement for selwood.

I wouldn't count Richmond out either, I think they can do with someone on the inside getting the ball out to their runners.

It’s been mentioned several times that Richmond are bottom in the AFL for tackles and clearances, 4th bottom contested possessions. You can bet they’ll be in for Crouch

That was purely a guess because of Ports trading record. Like most breaking news reporters in the AFL they are mostly full of crap and wrong 99% of the time.

There were more people running with him going to Port than Crows

Wouldn't you. Crows had a horrendous record of trades where as Port had gotten everyone they chased. The media gambled. He never had any interest in Port, he went to the club but left quickly. So I think its safe to say the media were clearly wrong.
