Yeah, I drove up from Canberra for those games that were Sydney-based - bleak journeys home afterwards :tired:

It was a pretty bleak drive home from Marvel Stadium a few years ago when they pulled our pants down whilst only having 16 players on the field - downright humiliating and embarrassing- we owe them.

Going with the like for like vossy has preached, who comes in for Martin?

Does Motlop get a run? Not the same player as Martin but is a forward. With honey and Cuningham out we don’t have too many other options…

If George is right he will replace Boyd (stiff - I’m a fan, and best game he’s played on Sunday, but George comes in for someone).
It’ll be Fogarty.

Or last year when they creamed us up there.
Think Greene kicked 6 or someone kicked a bag

Really looking forward to this game...

Would love for us to get over the line and kill two birds with one stone...
1.. Break our hoodoo on the road this year (2x Travels/ 2x losses)
2.. Break our hoodoo against GWS... Who have given us some almighty floggings, over recent history...

Go Baggers
2 bad losses on the road but to be fair we were hit by injuries early on in both games.

Id say circumstances played a big part that day.

Yes of course no Pitto and Cripps for the most part, but the main reason we lost was because we played a flat game. Simple as that, it happens and this group has shown they are still very much capable of throwing in a flat performance particularly interstate so let's hope they turn up with the right intensity and like I said if they do that, then we should come away the victors by about 20 points imo.

Definitely not Plowman.
Absolutely Greene will kick a bag too crafty and agile for Plowman plus Plow too soft has to be an aggressive type who doesn't mind dishing out a cheap ear massage, bump him being a pest to him Plowman too nice a bloke/player.

Greene is a seriously good player with the right amount of campaigner in him he would've thrived in the 80's/90's he's a gun footballer.

Saad too small to play on Greene plus we need him and Docherty as our rebounders.

So it has to be and in order if fit and nastiness factor Stocker/Newman/Williams then at a pinch ...................Plowman shit I'd even rather Newnes on Greene.

I wouldn't care if they brought in Plowman for a Bobby Hill type but geez if Vossy brings him in for Greene I'll wish Plowman all the best and hope he can beat Greene but I think we'll all be like

watching on Sunday afternoon.

I am a Plow man. He sure cops a lot of stick on here, but has previous form in beating some of these big name stars (Papley, Walters, C Cameron, Gray from 2020). Maybe he has not gone the distance with Greene yet, but I am prepared to back him in, think he might be sick enough of losing to these campaigners, and surely more than keen to re-stake his claim to a spot in the seniors. Would love to see him discover his inner mongrel and plow through Toby, the way Toby himself does to others. Something like what Young did to Zurhaar would really be quite satisfying.

Other options? Certainly would not send Saad, Doc or Williams there. Stocker maybe, but it would be a pretty big gamble straight off his injury. Plow for me.

Greene is always dangerous and seems to kick a bag every time he plays us
Isn't he suspended about 17 rounds a year.

How is he always available to rip us a new one?

Not fair!

Preuss+Flynn are my biggest concern heading into the game. The 2 games we've lost we've been destroyed in the ruck and that disrupts our midfield /stoppage dominance... which is really 90% of our game plan.

I hope we win but I'm not overly optimistic to be honest.

I would absolutely love it if Plow turned all rugged defender he has the size, athletic build to really be able to smash into some bodies but feel it's just not in

his nature he's a ball player just look at the best hit he ever laid on O'meara a complete accident as he was trying to spoil.
