I find it hard to believe, security and officials, turned a blind eye, as the unverified allegations assert

I just don’t believe it.

Now it might be true they did nothing because there was some doubt about what was said; or it might just all be bollocks

But I don’t buy the they didn’t care bit
Yes, it's a pretty big step for security to evict someone - I'd say they need to have witnessed it themselves, or have really solid evidence. They're not Police - and even the police have limits on what they can do.

I wish we had the picks we gave up for Gibbs.
Oh wait. 2018 draft recruiter would probably still stuff them up.
Carry on.
be thankful Noble did us a big favor when paying up pick 12 for Cameron that year and doing the deal AFTER we paid for Gibbs - otherwise no doubt SOS would have been demanding picks 10 & 12 instead of 10 & 16. Pick 12 was used to draft Darcy Fogarty

Depending on the Cost, a 600K Grundy for 5 years at no cost in Picks would be worth a look. Maybe go as high as 700K if they sweeten the pot more
Depends on Grundy’s head space, it seems since he signed the contract that his performances have been below average. I haven’t watched all his games since last year but his drop off has been bad, it’s a big risk to take him even though Rob is poor. We can spend that money somewhere else to get other players. Grundy might think of that contract as a early retirement and slack off, hope Adelaide never give more then 4 years max

They dropped him because they wanted him to prove something, which they felt that he did.

They dropped him because he was bustled out of ruck contests repeatedly by a chop out ruck who weighs 30kegs less, he should have been dropped for a month to send a message, not one match.

Hypothetical, do you think Blight would rush his number one ruck back after a single game in the magoos after putting up the effort he did against Carlton earlier in the year?

Blight lucked into 2 flags, Neil Craig was the coaching genius. Ask thyself what Neil would do and ye'll have the answers ye seek.

Getting out rucked by Jack SOS resulting in multiple goals quickly was an all time low for ROB. Its sadly burned into my brain with him getting rag dolled by Draper in the goal square basically icing the match. I don't think our issues trace back to ROB as much as others but regardless he should be more accountable & droppable. Strachan may not be heaps better but nothing wrong with keeping both accountable.

Blight didn't even drop David Pittman after his Pathetic Pittman spray, so how could you know?

Blight didnt get the chance to drop him - he was injured and missed the next 2 games.

But after that spray and a worst on ground donuts performance its extremely likely Blight would have dropped him if he wasn't injured.

ROB got back with one fantastic game, we didn’t make him back it up.
Champion Data shows ruckman traditionally marking down the line have been smashed this year being double and triple teamed . Naitanui down to 1.3 mpg , Darcy down 40% to 2.5 , and Rob down 30% to 2.4 although Rob is more mobile and does get inside a bit more he has paddles for hands at the moment. His heat map for that 175 point game had him confidently dominating the centre with score involvements galore , now his maps have him going wide again and looks lost with no confidence at all. I don’t know the game plan or the answer but it needs sorting . What does hurt is the development of English and the possibility of him playing for us had it not been for Don’s Party seeing more in the curly moustache.

I have received some information attributable to a reliable former contributor to BigFooty with sources at a Victorian club. Please take all rumors with a grain of salt.

1. Izak Rankine has indicated to other clubs very recently that he wants to return home, the Crows are leading the race and have the most interest

2. A Victorian club has interest in Tariek Newchurch

3. Max Michalanney has been receiving a lot of interest from other clubs and is highly rated, but the Crows are a certainty to get him

I could accept Newchurch leaving if we got Rankine. Wouldn't need Newchurch with Rankine, Rachele, Keays up forward.
Plus needing to find a spot for Cook, Pedlar, Gollant, Milera, Taylor, Nankervis, McAdam and hell even Sloane.

Emma Quayle..?? ;)

Lol - that may have been true. I remember Blight saying that he never once dropped Pittman, but that wasn't the same as saying he played every week.
