Just give the Captaincy to someone who deserves it.

Jack doesn't any more
I don’t think anyone is saying he should keep captaincy

Seems pretty obvious it’s his last year and he will transition the captaincy over to jy

Like spitta did for him

I'd suggest Ziebell the worst AFL Captain of all time.
Jesus.

I mean, the bloke has been frustrating/depressing to watch but this is a really poor take. Name any captain out there prepared to take on the responsibility of captaining a football team having experienced a mass exodus during the heightened dangers of COVID, a list management disaster and football department overhaul.

Take it easy on our players. He had shown more heart for our footy club 5 mins into his first season at North than that piss-weak number 1 pick did for the whole year. Jack is a legend of the club and always will be. His attack on the ball embodies the traits of a Shinboner and a leader. Don't forget that.

Outside the safety of the First round, the successful teams usually pick players with at least a standout elite trait, usually athletic related, and back their programs in to enhance their weaknesses. Geelong and Richmond have been masters at that in recent times.

We've had a history, particularly under Joyce and Scott, of playing safe and using those later picks on neat, solid footballers who don't really move the needle all that much.

At 23, I want the kid with the most upside. Following the Goater approach.
Sounds like Weddel.

It's not his fault.
Mummy does the washing!
"Mum put the Pooort top in the dryer!"

"No Jason! We are not using the dryer because it takes too much power!"

"But muuummmm, I only have the North top in my suitcase that I didn't give back to the club because I was too weak to face them!"

"Well bad luck I am not using the dryer!"
