Yes.

Nate Caddy, Archer Reid, Logan Morris all look good.

Harley Reid (Mid/Utility), who I believe is 186cm already, also showed in the Metro V Country game that he can be an extremely damaging deep forward. Will be interesting if he keeps growing.

What about BPJ I know he was playing as a key Forward?

Also are the ones you listed long leading forwards or bash and crash contested markers?

I suspect if he's more comfortable in Adelaide he'll start being more diligent and will thrive. He never settled in Melbourne
Might very well be the case, it did seem like some of his antics were related to not being able to manage his anger than where he lived though.

The very best are generally meticulous in their training habits and preparation, will he be that now he has moved back home?

With Zurhaar, Larkey, TT, Curtis, Comben & CCJ I'm not sure we'll draft Sheezel as I believe he is more of a forward.

Reckon we'd somehow find space for an elite forward, particularly since three players that you listed are talls.

Is this the same Jon Ralph who was pushing us to take 8 + F1 + a 3rd rounder for JHF? Then updated the 3rd rounder to Bonner and said it would clinch the deal?

But somehow 2 + F1 + change is now no good?

This stupid cross-eyed campaigner has always hated us.
And if we do end up with a Cadman, he’ll point to the risk that comes with selecting talls with high picks, and say we were negligent not to go with the two safer picks.

Moir looks pretty good so far.

Yes Cadman may well be in our top 3 but I am confident we don't want him due to other options.
Yep trading of pick 3 was fishing, if someone approached us with an unbelievable offer we'd look at it.

Could be wrong though.

Do you believe Sheezel is a forward because he only ever plays forward or is it something else? 😬

Yeah BPJ playing as a key forward, not sure where he sits in early draft orders though.

Will have to refer to someone else in terms of the types of key forwards they are. All I know is that we have a lot of options next year in terms of keys.

Naaah * him.

He took a massive dump on our whole football club. That’s our rich history, us as members and supporters, every player who ever pulled on the royal blue and white and the current playing group.

May his career be mired in mediocrity and he never achieve the ultimate success on a football field.

100% my fellow Hooked on Rookser.

I'll tell you who doesn't get appreciated enough.

Players like Kyron Hayden, Adam Hay, Eric Wallace, Daniel Currie, Ben Speight.

Guys who moved across the country - or even the world - doing everything possible to make it. Circumstances, late starts (Wallace) or ultimately a shortfall of talent might've capped their AFL success but they were willing to grind it out on **** all money on rookie lists or on the fringe, some spending years in the system (Currie, Hay) with next to no senior games to show for it.

It's players like that who DO justify having shots at someone like Jason Horne-Francis. All the talent in the world but showed all the character and loyalty of a Foreign Legion fugitive during his time at Arden Street.

**** him and the hyphen he rode in on. Sideways.

We have a lot of mids too!

If you're disliked by Will Phillips you are to blame. There's no way you can get around it.
Yeah weird because when I met Will on a night out he was out with Jason. This was in like December/Jan last year and so makes sense that his feelings may have changed over the year with Jason’s actions. Either way Will didn’t seem like the sort of bloke to hold a grudge, he’s a top class guy and told me I’d be a very happy man in a few years for going for North.

There’s been talk Harley Reid is pushing 190cm now, if he gets taller than that he will be a demigod of a footballer.
Archer Reid would be a nice consolation prize, will be a gun KPF.

What are people's takes on trading/FA for a readymade key forward down the line instead of drafting now? I know we aren't guaranteed to have one available when we need it. I mean Richmond got Lynch in via free agency. Might be the club's line of thinking?

I am glad we ended up with 2 + FF instead of 8 + FF and other flotsam. I think having 2 of Sheezel/Wardlaw/Tsatas and an extra first round next year gives us two really strong talented kids going into next year.

I like Cadman as well but for whatever reason our club doesn't rate him as highly.

I will lose my s**t if we trade 3 down.

I know there's a few besotted with him on here but I didn't want #8 + Butters.

I'd take #2 + F1 over any of the #8 + player combinations that were proposed.

I don't rate Marshall and Bergman, Sinn aren't nearly heavy enough hitters to have balanced the trade.

We didn't shoot the lights out in the deal but if you told me a week ago we'd walk out with pick #2 as part of the deal I'd have signed up there and then.

True that we'll play Zurhaar, TT and Curtis, two talls and a further rotation of a mid/fwd. Just we've said we want quick players so it will be interesting.

Kudos for Brady who pushed hard for Curtis, wasn't a decision that was popular apparently.

He's 4th on my list but the benefits are that he is 6'2 and he accumulates possession. We could use somebody who gets in the right spors to receive.

I think that he can kick well but just opts to slam it on his boot sometimes to gain territory.
He is taller than the other boys but I reckon Wardlaw and Sheezel are stronger overhead and in the contest

What are they saying in the WA krakouers and others
ask and ye shall recieve:

Bad - West Coast

The mega trade which sealed the future of West Coast premiership player Junior Rioli is the same one that sees West Coast split their first pick in the draft for two first rounders — despite officially now missing out on Luke Jackson.
In a four-way deal that also involved North Melbourne, Greater Western Sydney and Port Adelaide, West Coast feel like the losers.

North finish with pick two and pick three, GWS with pick one in a massive coup that headlines their bumper draft hand, Port Adelaide one of the hottest young prospects in the game as well as a player who fills a need. Meanwhile, the Eagles get picks eight and 12 in exchange for losing a player they said were “bitterly disappointed” wanted to leave their club and their top pick.

They are obviously confident the first-rounders they have their eyes fixed on will slide that far. If that’s young Victorian tall Aaron Cadman, they’ll sit nervously through Hawthorn’s first selection at six. Credit to them if they make it work, but it feels like a risky play that could easily blow up.

West Coast have traded pick two but they got picks eight and 12. Junior Rioli and pick 40 have also been traded and they’ve received both and second and third round pick next year. But if we’re talking top picks, it’s No.2 for eight and 12.

The Eagles are believed to be targeting WA talent and think both of their targets will still be available at those selections. There’s no “go home” factor and they get two players.

North have turned Horne-Francis and pick one into two and three this year, a first-round pick next year and selections 40 and 43.

It gives the Kangaroos the chance to have multiple first round picks across two seasons.

West Coast national recruiting manager Rohan O’Brien said the evenness of the draft pool convinced the Eagles to part ways with pick two.

“We are very happy with the outcome of a complex deal,” he said.

“We believe it is an even draft and that we can bring two very talented players into our club with those first-round selections.

“With four of the first 26 selections at this stage of the draft order we are excited about the calibre of young players we can bring into our squad.

“In addition to Jayden Hunt joining us as an unrestricted free agent from Melbourne, we believe we are in a strong position to rejuvenate the list.”
