There really seems to be too much noise around us trading up to pick 8 for it not to be happening which is both sickening and depressing. I'm going to look into the big name trades and see if ANY other club has done that before, I cant think of any off the top of my head.

Here is the only trade I can make any sense of for all parties involved and it's still vomit worthy for us

I dont maintain reason or calm when it comes to trades, I reserve the desire to vent over trades at all times.

All media was on board at pick 6 for Cerra I think, or at least 90% of them and not counting the real boneheads

I don't think the pick 8 story comes from nothing. There's clearly something there bc why choose ports pick 8? why not go with whoever has pick 7 or pick 9.

As for Cerra all the actual reports from Twomey and the other AFL.com guys said 6 would be used for Cerra. Doesn't matter what trade radio and other media speculated, because the official sources knew it was pick 6.

I think there's a chance we do upgrade and then the final offer is 8 + F2 for Jackson. I'd like to think there's zero chance we use 2 firsts and a second round pick. It'll be 2 of the 3.

If we let a contracted Lobb go to WB for a future second and then trade up for a top 7 pick so we can use it and a second or possibly even another first rounder for Jackson I will be very surprised.
Melbourne can ask for whatever they want, has there been any suggestion we didn’t hang up the phone when it was put to us?
