Two games.... we needed two more wins to have played finals this year.
If we had had one more win we still be in 10th place.

It is just not that Hill is not a defender.
The problem is much bigger that that in that he goes to water more than any other player I can recall when an opponent is near him, or is applying pressure to him.
He just fumbles and coughs the ball up, plus his disposal goes to shit as well. Hi constantly also makes poor decisions when under pressure too.
Now yes it is true that most players under the pump will become worse ( Sinclair who is freakishly good under pressure ), but Hill just completely loses it.
So I can fully understand why some team mates may have lost faith in him.

We recruited a guy who spent his career providing outside run and tried to turn him into a more accountable type of player. He was unused in 2020 because we tried to hit lead up marks and a run and carry specialist is just sending the ball sideways to carry it instead. He was wasted so we sent him back to get him confidence and touches but his skill is still getting on his bike to provide run. That can be very handy in defence and was at times but you don't really need a $900k wingman to do that job. We will miss his run though, he is often the get out handball option through work rate.
How enjoyable? We talking like the Finnish PM or what?
