(Obviously Luke doesn't count because he is worth 2x 1sts)

Sounds like we want to take it to the draft.

We don't seem to be in the conversation for any of the mids a first rounder would require.

I wouldn't be trading our first this year. Seems we are in a pretty good position to land a quality kid that will suit our needs.

I'd be aiming at either getting two first round picks or 3 top 30 picks.

Getting something half decent for Hill is the key to that I think

Why would anyone do that, imo the billings hate on here is absurd. Sinclair and DMac and quite a few other were rubbish according to many on here. Then last years little hissy was ross was rubbish, billing was a jib who was vanilla and couldn‘t play, even though he was injured it was merciless. Ross has rubbed a few noses in it so is an injured billings last man standing.

Billings is classy, dependable, can hit a target and find plenty of the ball played as a forward or on a wing, his crime is not being the bont. We have plenty I’d have out the door before him that’s for sure. Also we have max heath running around at sandy already and can draft another for chump change.

This year or bust for me, he should be looking at his lamentable career so far and saying the same thing. I really don't like having him in the team, but if he can find a way to consistently be a very damaging player for us then he'd be a lock like he was 2017-19, he might even be one of our MVPs.

As it is, the club has been slowly moving past him and I hope he recognises that.

I completely agree with this given the age profile of our list I think it’s critical we draft another 3-4 top rated kids this year to keep the age profile balanced

Plantar fasciitis is a really debilitating injury for a player who runs big klms like billings. Then maybe so soft tissue, groin from trying to play through it and changing his gait. Let’s hope he’s injury free and able to put in the work because at his best he walks into our team.

He is a neat kick don't get me wrong but you want someone with some attacking flair to kick start your ball movement.

Ross rediscovered it. Perhaps we need to reprogram him. Ross is a shocking decision maker if he stops and thinks, move it quickly on instinct and he's actually creative. Billings needs to back first instinct, that's the 5 snapped goals against the Dogs guy before we broke him. Billings doesn't have to be Steele, he just needs to play his best footy.
