Is that my idea or is that my thoughts as to what they will do in 12 months ?

I don't know what you go on about most of the time. You were taking the piss out of me. Just pointing out your plan seems more like the same shit over and over. Another rebuild and I'm just about done any way. I almost hope they do it and I can extricate myself, they give more pain than joy in the last decade. It would finally leave the positivity crew to have their little tea party in peace.

I don't think I have ever heard so many supporters say they are just about done, myself included

So is this Rats is sacked thing true..?

It’s a bit clever to wait till after trade period so no players jump ship because they like him.
Seems the new off field team has grown a spine
Maybe the review found Rats had to go but they kept it quiet..

I doubt its true
doubt we would lose many players if they thought he was going

I can’t believe Gags has said gaining Cordy could free us up to swing Dougal Howard forward... I’m over it already. Skip next year entirely

It's doubly funny because Doogs left Port because he they told him he was playing forward/ruck or not at all.

Maybe it's where the Hill and Clark talk came from?

If there is a bit of a "boys club" that are getting picked regardless of fitness/form, and the whispers are the coach giving you an armchair ride is out, wouldn't you look at jumping ship before being found out?

There's a reason 2022 went to shit when Billings, Jones, Clark etc all came in for Longy, DMac, Lienart and co mid season...

When was DMac ever dropped last year? He was concussed then injured his calf...

I would have Billings, Jones, Clark absolutely over lienert and longy and whoever else you're referring to, because they are FAR superior players....

Plus Billings, Butler and a few other "Favourites " were also dropped last year...

I really don't understand these shithouse analysis that some of you have going on.
Between that and not going after GOPs or players that would cost multiple firsts (after whining about not using firsts and trading for GOPs)

It's just bloody idiotic..

I've been as critical of the club as anyone recently, but I have to say I'm getting a bit tired of people using media assclowns like Barrett and Cleary to denigrate St Kilda.

Those two in particular and the media in general are quite happy to present any facts in a negative light in order to further decrease the club's standing amongst its own fans and their AFL world in general.

I'm not saying the club has always done well, but I'm prepared to give the people running it a little bit of credit and not just automatically assume they are completely incompetent, which is the go-to assumption of so many people here - based on nothing but the supposition of a bunch of idiots who wouldn't know the first thing on how to run a club, or even tie their own shoelaces without mummy's help.
We've become a soft target for media flogs like Barrett and King.

If we trade for established players then we are giving away our future by not recruiting kids in the draft. They couldn't wait for the likes of Carlisle, Hill and Hannebery to fail.

If we choose to sit on our hands in the trade period and instead invest in the draft, then we are accepting mediocrity and not trying to improve.

It's a lose-lose situation for the Saints where they are concerned.

Someone should direct them to our success in rookie drafts, picking up players like Marshall, Wilkie, Sinclair for nothing. Throw in Membrey we got for free and hopefully Jack Hayes and we've had our success in non traditional avenues. Jack Steele for a second rounder wasn't too shabby either.

Don't get me wrong, we've made some shockers along the way, (no more so than Petracca) but it seems that kicking the Saints is a favorite media pasttime.

"Not really a window guy"

Holy *.

Wow.

The worst comment I've ever heard come out of the club.

How is this happening.
It's pretty correct though...we topped up and finished 6th...with a core we have now why not add more youth?

I mean Windows mean absolutely still all, we are more like the NFL or NRL where teams that miss finals one year, win flags the next
