Listening to SOS… most was very good but I was disappointed to hear him say he needed some convincing to take the job of list manager at the saints . I’m sure he is all in now but just disappointing to hear that I think.. should be a job anyone would be thrilled to have. I’m sure everyone here would quit their day job to take it .

I would have rather keep him personally and hoped we could get him back to his best. It's a gamble that we took and hopefully now that it's done it doesn't bite us. It goes one of two ways. He gets back and meets his potential and we look stupid or he stays a not quite GOP and Essendon look stupid.

Now that he's gone I hope like hell it's the latter. Anyway, good luck to him and hope he stays injury free and has a good career....just not against us.

I've said this a million times but Gresh has kicked a goal a game, in recent times from the midfield, and we're going to need to replace that.
Some have suggested that will be easy to do but if it was we'd kick more than 11 goals a game.
For reference Gresh kicked 21 goals in his career worst season. Dow has kicked 21 goals in his career. Different players but I've seen posters mention that Dow will replace what Gresh takes. He won't, and I don't know who will.

So far terrible, I didn't realise there was a seperate file for just the SOS interview and have just spent the last 20 minutes through gritted teeth listening to those rocket surgeons Barrett and Jenkins attempt to be "entertaining" - so far all it's done is make me entertain the concept of sending an anthrax-filled envelope to Trade Radio (not the metal group obvs)

Faaaaaaaaak they are a painful listen. I'd prefer an proctology examination from Edward Scissorhands than to listen to anymore of that.

I might cop it for this… but, Jack Billings. Gresham is a good clearance player, but wasn’t required in our midfield. Couldn’t kick the ball inside 50 as a HFF. Billings can play that position very well if settled and given the opportunity. It’s there now for him. Billings is a known goal kicker at half forward. His best season he piled on the goals but also kicked a shit load of points - could’ve been a 50 or 60 goal season from memory.

EDIT: only 23.36 in 2017. So to say a 50 goal season would be wrong as they’re going to miss some. 40 goals with some more accurate work that year.

replacement or to free up Sinclair for full time midfield. I'd imagine he'd be quite expensive though, maybe late first round range considering 3rd in BnF and 26 yrs old.

Liam's a ripping bloke. Huge props over here on him. Gets the absolute best out of him self. Good kick too.
