The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

I was more thinking 13 for 17+18

I like it.

Gives us 17, 18 and 21 (3x 1st RDPs). If we’ve done our homework we could pick the eyes out of the draft and turbo charge the re-build.

It also makes sense if the draft is even after pick 8. Multiple bites of the cherry.

In addition, having taken 3 first rounders to the draft, we can use future first round picks to trade-in elite talent without worrying about the AFL monitoring how many first rounders we have used at the draft table.

It gives the club drafting and trading flexibility.

So far terrible, I didn't realise there was a seperate file for just the SOS interview and have just spent the last 20 minutes through gritted teeth listening to those rocket surgeons Barrett and Jenkins attempt to be "entertaining" - so far all it's done is make me entertain the concept of sending an anthrax-filled envelope to Trade Radio (not the metal group obvs)

Faaaaaaaaak they are a painful listen. I'd prefer a proctology examination from Edward Scissorhands than to listen to anymore of that.
So did you finally listen to it?

I need confirmation that Trade week might get really exciting

I've said this a million times but Gresh has kicked a goal a game, in recent times from the midfield, and we're going to need to replace that.
Some have suggested that will be easy to do but if it was we'd kick more than 11 goals a game.
For reference Gresh kicked 21 goals in his career worst season. Dow has kicked 21 goals in his career. Different players but I've seen posters mention that Dow will replace what Gresh takes. He won't, and I don't know who will.

Henry is probably the only that could pick up some of the slack but he's much more outside than Gresham who can win inside ball.

Listening to SOS… most was very good but I was disappointed to hear him say he needed some convincing to take the job of list manager at the saints . I’m sure he is all in now but just disappointing to hear that I think.. should be a job anyone would be thrilled to have. I’m sure everyone here would quit their day job to take it .
Anyone of us nuffies would clean the toilets at RSEA park and pay for it, but SOS has been around footy clubs his whole life, it's his actual job and being the list manager at St Kilda is like being president of Sudan. Huge need, no clout, no help from head office. Imagine turning your back on favourite son Carlton to work with unloved red-headed stepchild St Kilda. Good on the bloke.

Still would prefer Jason Cripps though

I have never listened to any SEN trade radio so I can only imagine how bad they are sure to be. That fear is precisely why I haven't and you've just confirmed it. Life is far too short and besides I can get all of the info I need from this incredibly entertaining site. There are some soul brothers and sisters on this site, along with some very sick puppies!!

So Dow will win the inside ball and handball to Henry.
Simple…

I'll leave the toilets for you guys but I'd totally do list management. I couldn't be any worse than what we've had.

He's been through the ringer as a player and list manager.

I wouldn't read much into it.

Personally I feel alot more comfortable with him in charge vs trout and gags.

For example he mentioned a couple of points around the long term strategy. Never heard gags or trout do that beyond the usual building a premiership list.

It's clear he's much more across the detail of list management and has more contacts.

I do get people's reservations with him though but proof is in the pudding with the list build at gws and Carlton. He's atleast an upgrade on his predecessors.

I did say… Last 5 minutes
Purple: "Are you working on a deal that no one knows anything about yet?"
SOS: "Yes actually, I'll tell you a secret deal that the media can then blow up and scupper"

no just joking, Damo did legitimately ask that but SOS didn't say anything, steel trap is old Sossie. If there was a cryptic clue there, I didn't catch it and I really don't care to listen to it again. As Circus said, better to get the info off the more masochistic posters here who can bear to listen to those dribbling idiots again and again.

FMD Phil Davis sounds like an Essendon supporter (ie smooth brain)

"Hey SOS, it's Phil Davis here, nice to speak to you"

"Thanks Phil"

"I just wanted to ask you a question"

No shit Phil. No shit.

Never forget.

They were bluffing and hoping that no-one would realise that they had no idea of what they were doing. Toce is the biggest asset so far. It's so weird, we pick up draft picks that aren't disappointing and it's not even an accident. He's done it more than once. Got us Wilkie too.

I’m sure there are plenty of ppl qualified to do the job out there that wouldn’t need convincing to do it. I’m not saying I dont approve of SOS but at the same time he has made plenty of mistakes in the jobs he has had. Been giving heaps of early draft picks at GWS and Carlton. Can’t keep going to the well and give your failed early draft picks a second chance .

We aren't into anyone. The whole 2 weeks is the biggest beat up the AFL goes through all year. We'll end with some different picks and majority of the plodders will stay on the list. Whoever nominated us or other clubs will get there and that'll be it.

So Damo thinks we’re chasing someone no one has mentioned yet…

Apart from the Duggan rumours, anyone else on the radar? (Joke answers welcomed)
