Adelaide F1 to Freo for 13 and F1. There's a reasonable chance we come 15th and they make the GF but it's time to gamble. If we come 12th and they come 6th it's been a good trade.

Trade 4 and 13 to St Kilda for 7 & 8 (Battle compensation)

We get too gun players to develop this year, Draper could well be one of those, and remain in the first round next year.
Lol, Freo is never doing that.

Only top end draft prospects missing from teams still in the CTL Finals hunt are Sam Lalor (Hamstring) and Xavier Lindsay (Season ending PCL). A few others missing Jasper Alger, Zak Johnson 2 notables. * Bolded National/State Combine invites.

Good game at ETU Stadium Port Melbourne between the Rebels and the Falcons, even stevens at 1/4 time 3.2 apiece.
Good battle in the ruck between Rebel Flynn Penry and Falcons overager Joe Pike, KPF's for both teams Falcons Daniel Lowther and Rebel Jonty Faull strong overhead with 2 goals apiece both looking very dangerous. Rebel Ollie Hannaford hard at the contest and Falcon Xavier Ivisic both doing well.

How is Charleson doing?

I was only talking to one of his family members about footy yesterday. Apparently he's a better talent than his brother.

Good game so far, nothing like his brother Lachie though, Harry's more a running medium defender/midfielder that obviously has elite endurance, never stops running and putting in.

Half time

GWV Rebels 6.5 41
Geelong Falcons 5.5 35

Umpiring pretty ordinary IMO.

Falcons the slightly better team efficiency/system wise but the Rebels the better scrappers.

Flynn Penry slightly the better of overager Cats VFL ruck Joe Pike in the ruck battle, Xavier Ivisic, Daniel Lowther (3 goals), River Stevens and Cooper Ward the best for the Falcons and Jonty Faull (3 goals), Harry Charleson, Rhys Unwin and Harry Lawson the best for the Rebels. Underager Harley Hicks a couple of cameos showing off his speed and agility.

Charleson copped a heavy knock in the dying moments (tunneling) that ultimely led to an all in brawl and Lawson's goal that put the Rebels in front seconds before the half time siren.

3/4 time

Geelong Falcons 10.7 67
GWV Rebels 8.8 56

Falcons used the breeze well that quarter, Falcon Cooper Ward again in the thick of it and Rebel Ollie Hannaford who started down back in the 1st quarter since played a mix of on ball and forward again influential with 2 goals that quarter, have to love Ollie Hannaford's hard nosed attack on the contest and opponents and his all round skillset, whoever drafts him is getting a ripper.

Rebels eliminate the Falcons from the Finals with an upset win over the minor premiers.

Rebels 14.11
Falcons 12.10

Ollie Hannaford the match winner in the end with his outstanding game booting 5 goals ably assisted by KPF Jonty Faull with 4 goals.

Do you think that Pike would be worth having a look at as a developing ruck?

Nope the overager Pike beaten today by 2024 draft eligible Flynn Penry, that's who we should be drafting if we can't get a crack at Alex Dodson.

The 2nd game between the Dandenong Stingrays and the undermanned Gippsland Power is hardly worth watching with the Stingrays seeminly playing against witches hats and to make it even worseone of Gippy Power's best players Ricky Mentha just went down before the sien ending the 1st quarter with what looks to be a a right knee injury. Alexzander Tirau down back trying to hold back the dam wall.

1/4 time

Stingers 6.6
Power 0.0

Tirau now switched forward with the breeze.

Is he a chance to be there at our pick 42
Yes, should do given he as yet hasn't got a Combine invite which I find hard to believe personally. Was the best ruck on the ground in last year's Grand Final Day curtain raiser the U17's Future's game on the MCG.

Missed the 1st half of the Coates Talent League with injury and only resumed a fortnight before the Nationals so only got a managed run for VC in the last game of the Nationals. Since resuming he's had dominant games for all of Geelong Grammar in the APS schools system, GWV Rebels in the Coates Talent League and even for the Cobden Bombers Seniors in the strong Hampden Football League.

Maybe he could slip through to the rookie draft but now the Rebels have performed well in the Wildcard round and today's quarter finals and will get to play Finals again next week recruiters would have to be taking notice now,

A couple of pacy midfielders with above average hand/eye coordination one left, one right footed will do for a start. Emphasis on speed.
