people trying to convince themselves cal is wrong 😂😂
While Travaglia and Tauru are not who I'm hoping for, mostly I want him to be wrong about Ashcroft. Surely Richmond, North, Carlton and Adelaide are not all so inept as to let Ashcroft tumble - would be as dumb as letting Naicos fall.

If the Phantom is right, the Saints will be making up for two past draft mistakes. Selecting Travalgia (fancy European name) and Tauru (blonde KPP) will make up for drafting McCartin ahead of Petracca (fancy European name) and drafting Clark and Coffield ahead of Naughton (blonde KPP).

2023 - nailed the top 7 until the giants traded down - and still took the correct player.

2022 - nailed the top 14 picks

2021 - top 11 including us selecting NAS
So due to get one wrong

All we have heard for the last few months ad nauseam is how even the draft is good chance he gets 1 wrong

I'm more than happy with Reid/Lindsay 8 Tauru

We will know Wednesday

I think everyone on here would be happy with that outcome.

It gives us a mid (of sorts)

He is just as likely to get pick 7 wrong.

Anyway. Is what it is.

He's just repeating the script we already knew, isn't he?
We already knew the pool of players that are likely to be taken before our first pick. We already had an expectation of who'd be left, barring any sliders we can jump on. Plus there's still a pick swap on the cards if we get an agreeable offer.

Still think we can't lose unless we take a risk that doesn't pay off, like deciding to reach or trade up for a player.

There was enough talk - including from cal himself to feel like it was more than just a slider opportunity we were hoping for.

If you listened to misson today he basically said no comment to everything. Must be a lot of games going on behind closed doors by every club
On the same show that Twomey admitted that he didn't really know this year and may get quite a few wrong.

Flip out when it's time to flip out.
